Well I just can't understand why 50 mil is such unrealsitic sum, this is the way u run a top club, u need to spend money once a while... I just can't see another way.
Who is Tavano?? and Snijder, lots of talkings about him, but how good is he? I heard in the news that Juve offered 30 mil for Gerrard, why can't we?
I just can't understand people here, we going to lose top class players next year (especialy in defence) and u want to fill that hole with average players like Gallas and Alex? Yeah great back line: the old Cafu-Alex-Gallas- and not to forget the great legend Kaladze!!
Sure I live in the fantasy world, dreaming that we are going to spend 50 mil... Reality is so much better, like Lyon and Barca or even PSV humiliates us in front of full packed San Siro. This year we hardly came through the group stage, next year we maybe won't. If I'm gonna see Seedorf-Gattuso partnership again next year I'm going to throw up. How the hell u want to compete with teams like Barca and Juve with players like Oddo or Alex only god knows...
But hey u right, all we need is a new defender... and maybe, just maybe some average midfielder and we will crash Barca and Juve without any effort!!!
50 millions... lol.... u know how I can exaggerate sometimes, lol Milan to spend 50 millions lol... that's a good laugh... I can be so funny sometimes. So where is that Oddo (0000), he and Kaladze together will make history, I just afraid that it can make an ego clash in our squad... u know such two great legends playing together, may step on each other toes, kind'a "galacticos" symptom...
Well let me propose a toast for next year GRANDE MILAN!!!

To be honest he has a point.

Oddo is a very avrage player, Alex can't get into the Brazilian Squad and Gallas is being forced to play out of posistion for Carvallo, who isn't all that good!

Milan should be aiming to sign top class players, and replacing ageing players like Cafu, Billy (who i love, but for gods sake he is 40!) and dare i say it (he only has one season left!) San Paolo.

We should be looking at players like Kompany, Bonera, Zambrotta, Ashley Cole, Xavi, Albelda, Carrick, Zacardo, Frey, Given.

We need young/mid twentys Defenders and Midfielders.
Our strikers are perfect, just get rid of that useless brazilian Amorosso and bring back Pozzi, no need for Tavanno (8 million for a bench players is stupid!) when we have a younger, probably better player in Nicola!

Dida isn't good enough to play for Milan, not any more, he is like to old Dida, the Dida who played against Leeds, he is living off his 2 good seasons, and you know what, he has never been as good since the Juve Cl final in Manchester. Frey or Given would be ideal replacements, world calss CONSISTANT keepers! thats what a top team needs.

Look at Manchester UTD, Arsenal, Inter, Real.
thier main problems for the last 5 years have been inconsistant goal keepers.
and look at the only team to have solved it, Man UTD, and all they did was sign Van Der Sarr, who isn't the best in the world, but he is confident in his alilbity, talks to his defence and is CONSISTANT! the most important asset a keeper can have.

it's horrible to say but we need to replace about 6 players between first team and squad players.
We need consistantly world class players.

1. if you saw lazio - juve, ud know that besides peruzzi oddo would be man of the match, hes been playing amazing football for 3 years now, and hes usually on the scudetto team of the week... rightfully so... he can defend, and he can cross really well, and he goes forward aggressivly, and hes a milanista as well. Alex, i cant answer why he isnt called for the brazilian NT but thats not how u measure his value, are u telling me roque JR should be bought here just because he starts??? gallas, has been chelsea's best player this season hands down, if u watch them play ud see that despite being played in several positions he always plays great, and few attackers get by him, and the reason that thug carvalho is being played there is because del horno is underperforming while bridge was sent to fulham... note: they dont have to cost billions to be non-average players

2. "We should be looking at players like Kompany, Bonera, Zambrotta, Ashley Cole, Xavi, Albelda, Carrick, Zacardo, Frey, Given." ... from the list id only think about taking frey (for the future not this season), zambrotta (but juve aint selling him especially to us and we really have no big problems at LB, plus hed cost a fortune), xavi (same with zambrotta) .... albelda maybe but i doubt hed settle in.... u gotta be joking about zaccardo and bonera, theyre they are good, but they mess up too much, and relating it to ur alex argument, its oddo whos actually called up ahead of them in the italian NT, so theyre average players while oddo is a master next to them.

ok, i agree with this, not a bad solution, but maybe we can trade pozzi on loan + money for tavano?

are u kidding me??? ... i agree, dida isnt having the best of seasons at all... but how does that make him finished??? ... havent u learned??? ... havent u seen cafu before milan??? u thought he was finished im sure... what about maldini before nesta joined??? costacurta proved he isnt finished for long time, inzaghi??? everyone thought his career is done, hes scoring better than ever has, seedorf last season?? look at him this season, one of our most important players!! dida is far from finished, just having a bad year... the funny thing is that u say after old trafford he was never the same... makes me doubt how much milan u have watched after it.. last season, i couldnt ask for a better keeper than him, the season before it, if it wasnt for him i doubt we would have won the title...

as for the teams uve mentioned that have bought in keepers, i would have thought u would mention arsenal since without lehman this year theres no chance they would reach this far in the CL, but guess what?... out of all the keepers out there, no one went through more mistakes than lehmann did... look at him now, as old as dida and doing wonderfully.

Maybe Gattuso's distribution needs work but he is neither overrated nor underrated.

He is very useful for us as he proved today.

Gerrard has been absent this season for Liverpool...my opinion of course.

Very very true, at least someome agrees with me on that

On Gallas being an average player, mk18 is right Gallas has been one of Chelsea's player of the season up there with John Terry and Claude Makelele i'd love him at Milan

I know everyone has their opinion, but your view Hassan (and to an extent Milan Mad's ) made me laugh so very very much.

Gerrard ... over-rated ?? hahahaha

If you seriously think he's been missing for Liverpool this season then you are clearly mistaken and are talking complete and utter nonsense. I wonder how many games you have seen to think that and i wonder if you watch them objectively or are just there to criticise.

If one of our midfielders scored nearly 20 goals in a season and plays 50 odd games ... and in the majority of those games has been full of running, tackling, high energy and good vision ... i'd be extremely ecstatic. We should be so lucky.

I watch Gerrard week in week out for liverpool and also for england(who he is even worse for) and as for your 20 goals a season he has got 8 in the Premiership: you are including champions league qualifiers against teams like TNS, he didn't even score in the real champions league games.

In my eyes he plays upfront for liverpool, like Kaka for Milan very high forward

But i never said he had 20 goals in the premiership, i just said he has nearly 20 goals

Plus the roles he plays for club and country are totally different. For club he is usually played as central midfielder looking to go forward, although more recently he's played on the right ... whereas for club he's asked to do all the donkey work and be the defensive midfielder, a position that's not his best. Which is all to do with accomodating Frank Lampard who also hasn't played that well for England either.

True i know he has to play different roles for club and country alot more defensive for country which does not suit him thats england's weak point for this summers world cup i think, On the 20 goals kaka has already got 17 goals this season so it's not impossible for him to get 20 goals this season.

That is true about Kaka, but he does play in a more advanced role than Gerrard. Having said that, Gerrard has played some games playing off a striker, however the best comparison is to say that it would be like one of Seddorf, Pirlo or Gattuso getting nearly 20 goals.
