Because he does the dirty work....he breaks down plays if he has too , and has a good passing range to help start plays also....

Very workman like and the reason for juve midfield meging so dominant in the serie A ( along with moggi ).....plus he has the tendancy to score critical goals from time to time and has a very powerful right footed shot....

what is there not to like about him???

IMO Cannavaro makes way too many fouls in shhoting range from the goal, that was of his biggest issues at Inter. The reason why he looks so good when playing for Juve is ... well, I think now after those tapped phone calls are out, everyone knows why
Cannavaro in Milan will do great because he and Nesta make a very good pair, and it is obvious if you watch them playing for Italy. His age are the only problem, but he'll do great for one or two years, until some mega defender comes out to be bought.

To be realistic, i don't think that if Juve falls, more than 2 or 3 players will come to Milan. Mostly Zlatan and 1-2 Italians. If we are supposed to take 2 Italians then Giggi and Zambrotta will be my choice, but we shouldn't forget that Giggi and Cannavaro are very good pals, and that Milan's national players, the Italians, will make Cannavaro also feel as home.
We do have better midfielders then Juve, so we don't need their MF's, but we could use some of their defensive power, because defense is the only place where they are superior than us.

And if i choose only one Juventus player, then it will be Trezeguet. He's the only Juventus player i love. The best player in the world in front of the goal. Real goal machine that very rarely misses a chance. I bet that Kaka-Trezeguet will work even better than Ronaldinho-Eto'o.

Trezeguet is a good finisher, but he's not very mobile or agile and he's no where near as quick as he used to be, he can't beat people either ... i've seen forklift trucks with more manouverability that him.

In fact he's not a bad player per se, I have exaggerated a bit on my initial remarks lol! But we can grab better players, footballers that can do the 'dirty work' just like him and also play with creativity and skill.

Yes, your right at certain point, but Trez has what 99.9% of players don't have. He scores crucial goals. He's kind like Inzaghi, but with better finishing. Look at Juve's decisive goals and look at who's scoring them. He also scored many important goals for France, like the winner goal at Euro 2000.
I really can't see why is he so underrated. For me, after Henry and Sheva, he is the best attacker in the world, and he's the best classical striker in the world. He's not very fast but he has everything else : heading, shot, playing without the ball.
And lets not forget that only Trez and Sheva always score at least 17-18 goals every single season.
And he's in Juve for a long time, maybe that's why he's not as mobile as he used to be. If he comes in Milan he will try harder and he'll be even better than he was in last 3 seasons in which he scored +70 goals

My picks: Buffon and, depending the price tag they put on him, Zambrotta.

But why bring in Zambrotta, Janku should be able to do just a good a job as he could. Zambrotta was injured most of this season I think but that has nothing to do with my point. If we have faith in Janku, no reason to get Zambrotta. As for Emerson, it suprised my really, what Ancelotti had said about wanting to sign him. Are we getting rid of Vogel? Emerson is without doubt better then him.

You know Juve is the master of Series campaign while Milan is the CL team. I would buy the entire Juve including Capello and give them the Milan shirts to win the Series A tittle why our current team including Anceloti will forcus on UCL.

This is how we should do.

Give Buffon, Zambrotta and maybe Ibra for Sheva, not a gladiator like Emerson.
