the closest player to sheva from that list is adriano.... sheva is not the striker youre describing in ur post... sheva isnt the best dribbler in the world infact adriano is a much better one... adriano also has better control and skill on the ball, sheva is still the best striker from the list because hes very good in everything (heading, shooting with both feet, finishing, setting up team mates ... etc) but there are some aspects where adriano is better, that are more individual ... i think if adriano came he would be the perfect replacement because i doubt he wont settle in, he knows the city well, his style is brazilian (milanese) his friends are kaka dida cafu and serginho and we all know what hes capable of

as for etoo... well he has proven time after time that hes one of the worlds best, he always scores, and with a good partnership like gila and kaka he can be just as explosive as with his relationship with ronaldinho and larsson but i doubt barca would think of selling him


after veron's words today, i feel that we have a good chance of signing adriano, if not probably zlatan or kuyt

I voted Fernando Torres, because as far as I know him as a player, he is set to have the brightest future of the whole list ! Don't forget he's still only 22 years old !

As to know if Sheva can be replaced, forget about it ! (I already stated this many times today)
Let's just hope we can make the best out of what will come...
We can still count on players like Gila or Inzaghi to score goals... We can still count on players like Pirlo or Kaka to set up goals...
The only thing we lost today is a player who can be such a model, and who can do all those things at once, while smiling all over the way...

I voted Eto'o because out of all the players in the list he is currently the best. Adriano would be fantastic but lets be realistic here, would he cross over to other side of Milan? I don't think so, but you always have a chance, afterall just look at what Sheva did.

My top three choice based on what I feel is realistic 1. Eto'o 2. Torres 3. Tevez

C'mon Galliani show the world what we are made of!

Ok... fair enough. I'll take your word for it. Now can Adriano assist as Sheva has done. Seems to me Adriano is kind of a ball hog IMO. As much as I disdain Inter, I dont recall Adriano giving up the rock so that someone in a better position to goal can score.

Considering that Eto'o is completely unrealistic and shouldn't even have been listed because he's not going anywhere, the best choice on that list by a wide, wide margin would be Carlos Tevez.

yeah but thats where sheva is better... maybe hes a ball hog... but so is inzaghi... thats a problem that can easily be solved, besides i think the environment we have here will help him become even a better player than the one he already is... him and kaka and gila can be very very explosive, he can also be a free kick taker, his left foot is second to none

I would want to see 2 of the following:
Zlatan, Teves, Kuijt, Cassano in no particular order.
A less realistic option is Adriano but that would be close to impossible, I think as Moratti would hardly have the guts to most probably show himslelf yet again as a totally incompetent president by selling us a player like Adriano only for us to take him back to his best in a moth or two.
Soon, we will have to start thinking of finding a younger yet experienced version of Inzaghi - Pippo could be our 5th striker but that doesn't man he won't play at all - and there is hardly anyone better than Trez at this.

I voted for Totti, though i doubt we can get him. Totti is statistically worth a goal a game to Roma (through either scoring or assisting) and would complete our strikeforce imo, as he would provide the ammunition for Gila's poaching and Kaka's penetrative runs. He'd also score about 20 a year himself and take over all set pieces....

Who else on the list can do all that? Maybe Tevez can but we know for certain Totti can as he's been doing it for a decade!

I voted Crespo!!!!!! I think he can do Sheva`s role! Though I would like to add Tevez too!

no one who mentioned cassano would want hte cassano from this or last year to play for milan. We all hope that the close and friendly environment at Milan will help motivate him to get back to his best and will give him back the desire to play football. right now, cassano is probably deeply depressed and probably lost all will to play - from what I hear, he is the most out of shape (read FAT) player at Real M right now, and with ronnie there, that's quite an achievement.
When I say Cassano, I mean the Cassano after a complete overhaul alla "Crespo" during his loan period with us.
