dunno where u got that... but im pretty sure torres would cost alot of quid ... kaka came in for 8m euros if im corrent, and looking at stats players coming in from brazil usually settle in much better than those from spain

No, this guy will cost lots of money! Let me tell you how the final price or the equilibrium price is attained. Now, alot of clubs are looking for a good striker and Torres is a good striker! So all interested clubs will be bidding for him, which will push his price up and up. On top of that RM and Barca are both in the race of getting his signature, and when they bid, they reach astronomical figures such as GBP 50 mn. Other than that Spanish players don't rock in Italy.

Kaka was different....., well he was a Brazillian, that's all I can think of at the moment. Then we have Gila who is at par with torres (don't look at me like that: ) in terms of skills. So there is no point having two similar strikers. Still, I am not sure what Galliani and Braida think of him so... we might see a surprise
I posted the picture from the website, where was the info about him..birthdate and such stuff, but if you dont believe that i dont like him as a man..that is your business (for comparison you can have a look at my husbend or at Alessandro nesta - they both are my type of men).
About skills..Gila is a bare finisher and Torres is a forward..not a striker. Then about a price, if a deal with Sheva was the most expensive for the whole history of football, and we got 45 million pounds for him, then how for Torres it can rise up to 50 million? That doesnt make sense, sorry. i dont think that for Torres someone will pay more than half Sheva's price..plus Sheva is already experienced and this guy is so so young yet.

First of all I disagree that Torres is a forward!
There is no surety that we actually got 45 mn for sheva (30 mn).
Then there is no guarantee that Torres will be available for 50 mn!
He doesn't have any experience of Italy.
We already have booming strikers from our youth team - borreilio (spell check)
Ibra will be available at a better price without any risk!

Well, I will not talk about the money necessary to take him from Athletico Madrid... that really seems to me pretty pedestrian affair, if you ask me: we're a 'zillionaire' side, that can pay any sum for a great player if we want him!

That said, I have to say that I'm a huge fan of Torre's football: he's to me the best young striker bar none in the whole wide world. The guy is extremely fast, quick, inteligent and skilled, gifted with a marvellous sense of oportunity and a pretty amazing awareness.

I'm almost certain that he's destined to be much bigger than Sheva. In my opinion, Milan MUST get him at all costs!

I am not saying that Torres can not be an exeption, but I certainly am not willing to take a 30+mil risk on it when there are far more better options anyway.
DITTO.....I don't need to say a word. You have said it for me. I say we invest in our own youth....80% of the current Milan squad won't be around in 3 years.

I dont agree with all your statements above...Torres is a forward..brilliant forward...For Sheva we got 45 million as it was anounced on the television and this deal was called the most expensive in the history. So how can young Torres cost the same or even anywhere close to this price? And for Sheva we got that much money, because Abramovic desperately wanted Sheva, it was his dream to have him playing in Chelsea, coz getting Andrey, he not only gets a brilliant forward, he also gets a friend near by..Abramovic and Sheva are friends. So consider that 45 million is a price for forward and for a friend, plus including "dream fee"..lol
And also you think that Ibra will be available for a better price without any risk??? Not sure how better will be the price..Juve need money now and they will push the price as high as they can. Plus our risk is that Ibra will not put his soul into Milan, and that we ll have a fame of having dirty play as soon as Ibra starts to play for Milan. This guy is completely undiciplined, rude, arrogant and doent respect anyone..not players, not coach, not refs. Do we want that? I doubt it.

All the clips you might have seen of torres contain only those goals and moves which were his best, that way I'll post a clip of my cat playing with a ball for you to suggest him up for milan squad. Torres is growing and I don't think he can grow well in Italy.

We didn't get 45 'bloody' million pounds for sheva!!!!!!! There is no proof for that. It was called the most expensive deal of chelski which can also be 24.8 mn pounds!

If juve get relegeted, it will be us who will dominate his bid, because he had indicated through his agent that he wouldn't mind joining us. About him putting his soul in the game and going nuts on the pitch: If that 'soul' is channelized properly it will result in scoring goals at a higher rate with controlled aggression. Ibra needs a father-figure more than a coach and Carlo can be the one. His fitness will also be improved at milanello, which, is a great fitness center for our players with one of the best doctors. So stop Ibra. I am going for him not because he is my first choice but because of lack of options we have right now. My first replacement was always Henry then Eto'o.

Inconsistency.

He is known all around the world (which will raise his price), somehow he is nothing special to me. He is 'the centre' of his team, but this season he played crappy (like said, different story against barca). And i'll be very surprised if he does good on WC.

If he does, we may sign him... if he doesnt, my point is prooved. Though I would still rather see him in our team than Ibra!

Carlitos Tévez? No.

Carlos Tévez is massively overrated. He may be a big fish in Brazil but like Diego, Deivid, Roger and a few others I just don't think he's fast enough or physical enough to make in Europe.

Although physically strong and sturdy he's also of pretty small stature, he's 5.6. I think he'd get eaten alive by European centre-backs who will man-mark him a lot harder than they do in South-America. He's a good player but technically and athletically he's no Robinho or Leo Messi, he's a gritty, gutsy little warrior with good movement but not exceptionaly fast.

I think any rumour linking him with Chelsea is ridiculous, he has no heading, if they cross long-balls onto him he has no idea how to finish with his head anymore than Hélder Postiga did.
