IMO, if it were to happen, an EXCELLENT move. He really is the best player for the Brazilian NT at the WC alongside Kaka. He got 2 man of the matches already out of the 4 games played for them. Really, he is excellent defensively and also offensively. Maybe he can take Rino's place from time to time.

Just to let you all know, the player, with the most MOM (man of the match) awards in the current, ongoing SeppBlatterMcDonaldsFujiHyundaiCocaCola World Cup, is...wait for it....ZE ROBERTO, with 2 awards.
Now, if he can get this award when surrounded by a midfield of Kaka, Ronaldinho, and Emerson, then, why is he not Milan material? If he can get this award in what is regarded as the ultimate football event, then why cant he play for Milan? Yes, he is old, but for how long do we need him? One season? Maybe 2? How long does it take to win a UCL title? One season right? Listen, no one here, and I mean no one, would be satisfied if we fielded a young, inexperienced team, got knocked out early in the UCL, and had to fight to get a UCL spot in the table..so please, chill out on the: "I WANT YOUNG PLAYERS ONLY NO MORE OLDIES BUT GOODIES" diatribe...(frankly its getting tired) as we would so certainly follow in the path of Arsenal last EPL season, flattering to decieve, as youth in and of itself, cannot guarantee success, but balance can. Anyone note Spain´s average age? And did a team of Grand-dads (ie France)beat them when it really mattered this WCup? The aquisition of Foggia and Gourcuff obviously isnt enough for some of us...I wonder when, if ever, you will be satisfied? This season, we have purchsed Favalli, gotten Brocci back, and Foggia and Gourcuff...now what is the average age of our transfer aquisitions to date...anyone?

He had mentioned a serious reason for leaving Bayern and he doesn't appear to be a #@##@ who takes his words back. His parents are getting frail with time and he wants to be with them.... in Brazil. So, I really don't see any way of watching him in the rossoneri colors.

Do you really think that Foggia and Gourcuff are enough to give balance to our squad?

GRE-NO-LI...no, I dont think so, but its a start...having these players in the squad, allows us to gradually integrate them into the first team...allowing them to play Coppa Italia games vs the lesser lights, will give them the experience they need, and time to see if they really can "cut the mustard".
Gattuso, Pirlo, and Kaka, are all at the right age, to allow us, with a few experienced players, to develop the balance we need by slowly working the youngsters into starting roles, or to sub in the event of injury to the starters. I dont see the necessity for us to spend millions and millions of pounds on every single new phenomenon that emerges...I do agree we need investments in the defense, and a world class replacement for $heva...but I dont necessairly believe that we have to splurge 200 Million pounds to do that.

1) Wonderful skills, so wonderful that you can squeeze the like of Rivaldo and Rui Costa out of the starting XI (i.e., Kaka) or 2) Experienced in Italy or are proven AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL (i.e., CL competition, World Cup competition etc) or 3) Extremely Young players (<=22) who have the potential to excel. Favoli: category 2 Gourcuff: Category 3 Kaka: Category 1 Brocchi: Category 2 That's the balanced that we are talking about. It is NOT going to work with all young players. Balance is the key. Remember, we are not playing Football Manager (or CM). Players' stats don't go down dramatically when they become older like it always does in Football Manager game. And, one thing you canNOT deny; Milan has been in the CL (and reach semi-final) for more than any other team for the past 5 years. Arsenal? 1 year (so far); Liverpool? (where were they this year?); Deportivo (huh?); Real (aren't they out in the group stage?! I can't remember); Juve ("Ref, is a penalty!!!"); and perhaps Barcelona (yet to see). In organization, it's the bottom line (i.e., net profit) that counts. In football, it's trophy and results that count. |

Carlo said his wishes are Torres and Ze Roberto. Along with Gigi and oddo wanted by Galliani. Also, Zambrotta's agent says he wants to stay in Italy. This could lees to the old idea...Jankulovski andAmoroso to Roma, De Rossi is Rossonero.

Milan, dopo i Mondiali Ze' Roberto.
