also i think Arsenal and Liverpool are friendly rivals
They werent in '89

The Utd - Arsenal rivalry didnt exist until the 90's, i actually remember the game that started it all back when i was a kid, Brian McClair got into a fight with one of the Arsenal players and then all hell broke loose, everyone started fighting except David Seaman in goal both teams got punished over it, Arsenal lost 1 point more for starting the brawl

Since then i've disliked them, but Utds proper rivals are Liverpool, Leeds and City. Arsenal are just a bonus to hate while our real rivals were/are struggling

Quote:
he want's an improved contract offer and he wants to play along with his english teammates(Lampard and Co) because he felt more comfortable with them than the so- called French Clique( which i don't believe that)
Actually this is probably the most accurate of the reasons, he primarily wants more money and a chance to genuinely compete for the league and Europe but also Chelsea do have a core of players who arent just English but also Londoners. Cole will have known them for years at all the different levels of youth and district football. As for the French clique, its not as bad as it once was but there is still a different mentaility at Arsenal, Ribery hinted strongly if he was to move to England it would be to a team with a French 'atmosphere' and i doubt he'd just have made it up, Henry may have had a word with him about joining them and told him of their little gang.

yeah i was at the stadium oh it was so lovely atmosphere and believe i have never been to highbury, but setting my foot on Ashburn Grove was one of my memorable events that i can't forget it was so emotional

Dennis Bergkamp(a.k.a. Iceman) was one of my Best players i have ever seen in Highbury, i always refer him as our Zizou of Arsenal

I can't forget his memorable goal against Newcastle, Leicester and Derby County as well as Argentina. and am also my Kanu has scored, also it was nice to see old rearguard(Dixon Keown Bould Winterburn but no Adams) damn i missed those guys,

plus Grimandi made a brilliant kungfu style kick against Davids(Spud) which is brilliant to me,

by the way it's great to See Marco playing in Ashburnton Grove and looks like Cryuff is still taller as he was before

it really worries me that we wenger couldn't get a replacement for Sol Campbell and Cover for Gilberto it seems like he will rely on the youth again this season

and also those tabloids make me sick always wanting to publish fake stories over reyes just to increase their sales

i wonder if you'll get Gallas as part of the Cole deal ? If he goes to Chelsea that is. There are many factors against Gallas joining you, Mourinho keeps saying he won't strengthen his rivals and Gallas has stated he doesn't want to play for anyone else in England. But Arsenal do need a CB and maybe Henry can persuade him otherwise ??

hey y'all.... I'm an Arsenal fan in premiership, but I'm also a huge Dinamo Zagreb fan 'cus it's my hometown club....
I was on the stadium the other day and it was fantastic!!!
the both teams played well, but Arsenal is obviously a much better team and has some of the best players in the world... but they couldn't beat us in cheering!!!

TI SI PONOS MOG ZAGREBA GRADA
U KOJEM ZAKON PURGERA VLADA
I BIT ĆU SA TOBOM I U NEBO KAD UĐEM

if Ashley Cole leaves Arsenal this season... is there even an Englishman left in the squad besides "good enough for England at the WC... but not good enough for Arsenal in the CL" Walcott?

In the squad there are a few young Englishmen, 3 or 4 of them i think. But Hoyt is the only one i can name.
