The time for being positive & relaxed was at the start of the transfer season, now we are in need & desperate. Unless Berlu pumps up big money, which he won't coz Milan have become tight beyond belief in the last few years, and don't mention Nesta, Gila or whoever, coz they are exceptions to the rule. Favalli, Kalac, Dalla Bona, Coppolla, why have these players on our pay role if they are not good enough to play for the first team??? I wish someone would get Ambrovich to call Berlu and tell him how to spend his money properly. If we don't strengthen this summer forget winning anything, and say goodbye to Kaka, Pirlo, Gila, Gattuso next summer. Why stay if the club lacks the winning ambition?

I really hate Abramovitch very much, but I can't deny that he's making Chelsea stronger and stronger each passing year... we must not forget that they managed to grab a bi-championship on Premier League.

I would rather wait and sign the right player rather than making a panic buy just for the sake of signing someone and getting it over with. If Inter wants to hurry up and sign everyone they can just to sign players, let them. Maybe that's why they haven't been very successful. I don't want Milan to react like Inter. And I don't see how tearing our hair out worrying about something we don't really know anything about -- Milan's transfer targets and negotiations -- is going to help either the club or our own sanity.

If we get to September and Milan still hasn't signed a good striker, then we can say that the search for one has been a failure. But even then, I would rather wait until January than to panic and throw a lot of money at a player who isn't the right fit for our current needs (Crespo) or one who is an underachiever with a poor attitude (Ibrahimovic). For example, let's say, hypothetically, that Tevez isn't available now, but Corinthians gives Milan indications that we could get him if we wait until January. Wouldn't you rather wait on someone like that than to bring in a stiff just to fill a jersey? There are lots of possibilities and I'm confident that Berlusconi and the rest will find the right one.

Milan has 6 European titles. Chelsea has 0. I don't think Milan needs any advice from them.

Do you think that we can wait till january? Well, I don't agree with you on that one, pal. We not to seriously reinforce our side NOW, or in january we can be already out of CL and very far away from a Serie A triumph.

I'm not saying we should wait until January. In fact, I'm the one who keeps trying to tell you that there is plenty of time to bring in a quality striker this summer. That was, as I indicated, hypothetical. I'm just saying that even if we don't bring someone in to try to fill Sheva's shoes this summer (which I'm confident we will) it doesn't mean there is no plan. I was merely using that as a hypothetical example of something that could possibly be going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. That said, I would much rather wait until January on Tevez than to make a panic buy for someone such as Ibrahimovic.

But what is going to happen in future ?
Hard to say that we can do something in CL if we can't find a replacement for sheva and when i say replacement for sheva i don't mean Suazo for sure !
so milan menagement should sign a big name Tevez or Torres are the best repalcement we can find in market but if not them i wouldn't mind Drogba in Milan .. if we couldn't do anything in 2 months , can we find the right player in next 20 days

Most transfers are completed in the last two weeks of the transfer season. Why don't we all just relax and see what happens?

But we are not like most teams, we are special

Im confident Milan will make their moves, especially after we know our UCL fate. This being said, I dont like when other teams dictate what we do and which players we sign.

This is very true. But keep in mind that Milan are pushing themselves into HAVING to make a panic buy. We definately need a striker.

First, it was who is going to replace Sheva, even though it's doubtful any one player really can. Then after many of the top candidates are gone, it's changed to let's grab a decent striker. Now, it's let's just get a warm body as backup.

If Milan wants to sign a really good striker, they are going to need to open their pocketbooks really really wide.

Also, Tony75 is absolutely correct. Milan has been really tight with the money. I used to think it was because of the Berlusconi thing, but he's back so I guess that's not it.

More and more, I'm starting to think Boriello and Amorouso are what we're going to go with. I'm not thrilled with Milan's transfer policies right now.

That's exactly what scares me the most, that feeling of lethargy, of stillness.
