And no, it's not 16 goals in 25 games. It's 16 goals in 19 games. That's what both sources have. And even if it were 25 games -- which it's not -- it would still be pretty good.
Yeah of course he is scoring past teams like Artmedia and Rangers in europe big deal and it is 16 in 25 take a look. I do rate him as a very good player but i would prefer Torres imho.

2005-06...10.....1.....6

There it is. Although I did forget to add the game where Adriano came on as a sub (which makes it 16 goals in 20 games), when I was in school 9+10+1 did not equal 25. Maybe you're using the new math.

To use Homer Simpson's style... kids, kids, you're both right (Not that you're really kids)

I don't think I've ever seen Adriano use his right foot. That's my biggest problem with him. He prefers to take a hard left-footed shot when the ball is perfectly placed for a right-footed shot. He does have a killer left foot though.

When Adriano is on form, he's one of my favorite strikers! An absolute monster that I'd love to have in our colors. However, Tribal Football isn't the most reliable source but we can always dream!

Adriano, that's a joke. Why get Adriano when you can get the real thing (Ronaldo)

Why the obsession with numbers? Are you telling me that a striker who scores 20 league goals is better than one who scores 18? It is the characteristic of the player that counts. Adriano is too one-dimensional. When his one dimension (i.e. left foot) fails him, then that's it---he doesnt and simply cannot contribute much to the team. I honestly dont think he would be that great, especially playing as our withdrawn striker. I would prefer Ronaldo over him anyday, at least Ronie got other things (aside from burgers and chicks) up his sleeve.

I just can't see Inter selling Adriano to their biggest rivals. Adriano is too good of a player to give us and I think Inter knows that.

Same, very good point, but Inter also has a lot of strikers, and they are forgetting Adriano, plus I don't want him....

How do you propose we find that out then ? It's not like we can buy him then give him back to Real if it's not working out after a month or so and then go get Adriano. You buy Ronaldo and then wether you can turn him into his old self or not you're stuck with him.

Inter won't sell Adriano to us and he's not the type of forward we need anyway.

Adriano unhappy at Inter Monday 28 August, 2006. source www.channel4.com

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adriano’s Inter future has been thrown into doubt once again after he reacted badly when substituted in Saturday’s Super Cup Final.

Coach Roberto Mancini introduced Hernan Crespo 60 minutes into the game for Adriano, whose performance had been poor.

The Brazilian striker left the pitch shaking his head, kicking some bottles of water and punching the bench on his way out.

“I was mad at myself,” l’Imperatore reasoned, although it now seems clear that the rift between the player and the Nerazzurri is as serious as ever.

Mancini himself also tried to justify Adriano’s reaction: “Sometimes a player gets mad at himself, it’s a normal reaction when you are substituted in an important match.”

Adriano’s replacement was made all the more bitter when Crespo went on to score five minutes into his second debut for the outfit, contributing to Inter’s incredible victory over Roma.

The future of the Brazilian international will now be decided in the next few days, as the summer transfer window is due to close on August 31.

Inter owner Massimo Moratti is still keen on bringing former star Ronaldo back to San Siro, after Real Madrid’s negotiation with city rivals Milan failed.

Reports in Spain suggested last week the Nerazzurri could propose a swap deal involving Adriano, but Real chief Ramon Calderon has apparently asked for an additional £7m.

I know that inter wont sell him easily to Milan. But since we can buy seedorf,Pirlo n simic from then there is nothing impossible. Maybe he want to come over to get away from inter Argentinian team and come over where we have kaka, cafu, dida n serginho or even leonardo. I wont mind having him here n i always think he can be great again if he come over.. 30m Milan get from Sheva sales can be cash for for this young player.Any other opinion?
