We play the afternoon game not the evening. I am not sure if we play on a Saturday or a Sunday.

Inter have 3 big games. @Fiorentina, Sampdoria, @Roma. If they dont drop points here then I dont know where they will. I think they'll beat Samp and lose to both the other teams.

Milan have a nice schedule this year.

I've only read about Roma & Inter playing Saturday because of the CL. So i guess that we will play on the Sunday as our CL match must be on the following Wednesday.

Why do people insist on dropping Kaladze, and then having Bonera @ CB??
Nesta & Kaladze are our best options @ CB bar none. It will be the usual line-up. Most of it can name it, only the subs will be different.

Dida, Cafu, Nesta, KK, Serginho, Pirlo, Gattuso, Seedorf, Kaka, Gila, Inzaghi
Subs: Kalac, Maldini, Billy, Brocchi, Gourcuff, Oliveira, Borreillo

we need to have the best possible start oif the season to put pressure on Inter and Mancini as then they never function with calm like Milan. And I believe Carlo will field Gila-Pippo, as they are 100% fit. Pippo plays great, let him play. my team:

i agree and this will be most probably the line-up carlo uses ..... but id rather see a pippo-oliviera partnership ... i dont like the idea of using pippo and gila together

Unless I am reading Carlo totally wrong...Gila and Pippo will start...Seedorf, Kaka, Rino and Pirlo in the middle, and my only uncertainties lie with the his choices for defense...

I would think that Nesta, Bonera/Maldini, Cafu or Serginho will be in the back, in front of Dida in goal.

This match promises to be a humdinger, and we would do well to reduce the deficit to -5 points from the first match, though against Lazio, this is easier said than done.

We dont have the same fitness and solidity as they will, but we have more class, and I just hope that over the 90 minutes, this comes to the fore.

Prediction: A rather uncomfortable win, by a narrow margin.

PS: Olivera or Borriello will feature in this match, but not both.

People insist Tony, because KK is injured, (or recovering from injury) and as such, wont play.

im pretty sure nesta and maldini will pay as a CB duo. As Kaladze didnt recover. with standard CM, it could look like this......
dida-cafu-nesta-maldini(how nice to see him again!!!!!! ) - serginho-pirlo-gattuso-seedorf-kaka-gila-pippo.

Im sure that for Italy Gila or Pippo will not start as Cassano is on fire again. Pirlo and Gattuso could be tired, so could kaka'. But im sure we can recover them all. Seedorf looks good, so does Cafu and Serginho. we really need to win this, to press Inter. In few first rounds there is no space for ANY mistakes, like we did last year.
