i agree gourcuff should start, but i think gattusso should also play. i would like him get some touches in b4 the break, and all players that show heart and desire should be rewarded on this team!!!

it wouldn't be a good idea to leave Pirlo out and I would also prefer to see Gourcuff in a more offensive role and probably we will play with only one striker

At home we'll probably go back to our 4-3-1-2. Hopefully Pirlo, Gattuso, Gourcuff; Kaka; Gila, Oli will be our '3-1-2'

Is it just me that Gilardino is much more unselfish than Oliveira or Pippo? Seems to me that the latter two just shoot or dribble and shoot whenever they can. They just refuse to pass it to anybody else.

I would rather have Gila upfront alone.

it's true, but that can be a possitive capacity if they would acturally score and when a striker passes the ball more to let someone else trying to score instead of trying to score himself, it can also point on a lack of confidence. But I would also prefer Gila upfront alone now, because it looks like he's beginning to get his confidence and goals

Gosh!!! i didnt realize how low our morale is right now. I dont known what's wrong with the team ATM. Certainly, we are not fighting as a unit. ATM, we do look like a disintegrated assemble of talented individuals.

Regarding the game, IMHO, I dont think playing Gila upfront as the lone striker is a good idea in such games. Catania are more than likely to put men behind the balls. If Gila is played upfront alone, he will be very closely watched. And since we are already so desperately missing our final killer passes, being overpowered by defenders in number would definitely cut down the chances which Gila may have. I would put Inzaghi in with Gila (if Pippo is fit to play from the start of course) just to increase the chance that a pass from our midfielders will reach its targets.

I don't see any real excuse not to win this match. I'll certainly be watching as I normally do.
