Two wins out of two, can't complain about that

Is there a line-up of who played this latest match?

Not yet, they usually take a day or two before putting it up. I'd expect that the guys who played yesterday would have been rested as two games in two days is a bit rough.

Starting lineup against Rimini:

Offredi; Cosner, Malacarne(60' Fondrini), Caraglia, Colombo(65' Bruscagin), Romagnoli, Umunegbu, Rampinini, Aubameyang P., Coppiardi(46' Paloschi), Osuji

Not really sure of positions so I can't tell who played where. It's in no particular order on the club page.

First loss of the season comes away to Fiorentina with a scoreline of 2-1. Riccardo Caraglia scored our only goal.

Two match updates. First of all we beat Udinese 3-1 away from home in the return leg of our Coppa Italia tie to advance to the third round of the tournament. We won 4-2 on aggregate.

Secondly, today we beat Vicenza 3-1 at home thanks to goals from Paloschi, Coppiardi and Fondrini.

Looks like we're doing pretty well at youth level. This is important for the future.

Novinic hasn't been too bad for one of our U-16 youth teams so far, scoring 4 goals in 5 league games. Not bad for a midfielder.

Whose future? When was the last time a player from our youth managed to break into senior team? I mean as a true player, not a name to complete the 25 player list. Most of our youth ended up playing for other smaller teams like Empoli and the likes

Maybe this new investment into our youth teams will start producing better players. They're owning the youth leagues though as Milan Primavera beat Treviso 2-0 in the first leg of their round of 16 cup tie. Paloschi with the brace.

Most youth players will fail to break through into the first squad, but we've never invested a great deal in the youth system until more recent years, so it's not surprising few have succeeded. However, there's a lot of quality now at youth level and there's a reasonably strong possibility at least 2-3 of them could break into the squad. But we're also talking about players 5 years down the line, so there's no guarantee even then.

In addition, other than Roma, few of the bigger sides in Italy have youth players who will break through into the squad at an early age. Most usually send the players out to other clubs on loan (like we've done with Pozzi, Marzoratti and Di Gennaro for example) for a while before recalling them when they have the required experience.

Another win for us in the league. 2-0 against Ravenna with goals from Darmian and Rampinini.
