If Pirlo can't make it, I'd play Gourcuff in his stead. I don't want a repeat of Siena with 3 DMs who can't pass the ball more than 3 feet in front of them. Even 2 is overkill but I could live with this midfield (Ambro, Gourcuff, Gattuso, Seedorf, Kaka).

i dunno why, but i see some of ya underestimating benfica, they have a strong squad even without simao and miccoli, i still indeed fear them. my only concern is the about the strikers, if only kaka still got his magic from last season its ok. so forza milan.

Every team would like to start first game in UCL with a win , and we must win this since the game is in San Siro . We came after a lucky draw with Siena / Benifa from a 3-0 win at home but you know we rested Kaka Pirlo just for this game and I think that these 2 players can be the key for the first win in UCL .
My prefered formation for tonights game would be Carlo's one :
