So does this mean Flamini gets #24? what about Zambrotta, does he get #11?

If we can off load him, we can 'save' much money. IMO we shouldnt have 3 GK who are smiliar quality among them. One of our 3 GK should go, two if a new decent GK came.

We can't risk him messing up his back while sitting down man... Butter fingers needs to be kept away from the dangerous game of warming up the bench.

Was there a third keeper called up? If Offredi was called instead of Dida... that could be an indication what could happened with what is left of the transfer season (potentially him being loaned out as contract stipulations are too large).

I'd love to see Dida sold, but no one will buy his contract the way it is. I see us loaning him out to a Brazilian team... I don't know how good Offredi is, but he was called up as third keeper for some of the CL matches I believe (Kalac, Fiori, Offredi)...

Yeah, like no one else on the planet has ever had their back suddenly go out during normal activity. In fact, one of my coworkers spent the Fourth of July in the hospital after waking up in crippling back pain. Christ Almighty, give it a ****ing rest, please.

I didn't say that.

I'm just not pleased with the way he has performed last season and I think it's his time to leave.

Ancelotti said that Dida is ready, but he's doing a preventive program to avoid getting a back injury again. They don't want to risk anything.

Dida will get his chance in the pre-season games, and so will Abbiati.

Yes, he said the Dida is ready, but he also said that he expect Dida to be our first choice for the next season. However, Dida and Abbiati will fight for this place and Kalac will be third goalkeeper.

So, i don't agree with you guys that Dida is over with us, and that we must sell him, he was world best keeper and for lot of us he is still the world best. So if we give him chance this season he will be great like two or three seasons ago.

And about friendlies, i think that Roni and Pato will have the best preparation, because they will play an official games and than will go back fully prepared to our first game in seria a.

Ancelotti didn't say that he expect Dida to be our first choice.

"Dida, who is doing well, but he's also doing a preventive program to avoid him getting back into the problems he had last season."

I never said that Dida is finished.

The problem I have with Dida is the issue of trust. Whenever I see the guy in the box I get edgy... every time I see an opposing player making a shot on goal and he's there I get edgy. He'll have to win the trust of the fans back... because he doesn't have mine.

I do recognize him for the achievements he has done in the past... but he's lost quite a bit of form since then. He was once the world's best.

I think the first spot should be given to Abbiati, hands down.

And indeed, Ronnie and Pato will treat the Olympics as a warm-up... the first three games will not be very hard (Belgium, New Zealand and one other I'm forgetting)...

after 34', nets are cleans

I'm watching the other game, Italy Hungary semifinal U19. ( up by 1 at 75')

By the way, 17 y.o. Wilfred Osuji Chinoye seems to be a good (really good) prospect ... and I don't know why he reminds me Siregar .... it's a mistery.

Pace, dribbling, personality, shoot, very well. Ok, first friendly match, cremonese is not a top team, ok what you want, but what impress me ( in the 2 minutes I saw the game ) it's been this youngster on the right side.
