Its a serious step and the one I applaud to!

Channel4 says Boriello-Pato-Kaka' will start against Lazio, and that is also a good sign. Dinho and Sheva are not ready and should not play untill they can really play professional football at high level. using Dinho and Sheva is smaller ammounts is better then using them like in the first two ronuds.
I think that put more pressure on the players to get back into shape and train harder and that's the way to do it! I think that is what happened yesterday. The players thought "we need to impress"...

I thought Sheva was pretty good in that game yesterday, but he can be used as a substitute say for Pato... but I agree... Pato and Borriello should start. Borriello has so much power... and people used to attack me for being a supporter of bringing him back to Milan.

I must say even Kaladze was better yesterday...

Giancarlo, I was one of those who was against Borriello coming back and I apologise to you as I have been proven wrong for now ( and hopefully in the long run too ). I did not attack you ever before though for your opinion but nevertheless, i respect you forsight..

As for our game against Lazio, I would prefer to see this line-up

---------------Sheva-------Boriello----------------
-----Ronaldinho------------------------Kaka-------
----------Ambro---------------Flamini--------------
Marek--------------------------------------Zambro
------------Kaladze---------Bonera----------------

I would Start Sheva over Pato for 2 Reason. Experience and also to tire opponents out.
If i were Carlo, I would instruct Sheva to run his heart out for 45mins keep swapping places with Boriello. Ronnie to keep trying through balls or running at defenders and the same to Kaka. Ambro and Flamini to sit right infront of the Defence while Marek and Zambro keep Supporting the 2 Attacking Midfielders from the Flanks with 1-2s and cross.
First Half if we score great if not then its okay, the idea is to tire the opposition and confuse them with aggression that is long-overdue. Just to let them know that SanSiro is Hell for non-Milanistas. 2nd Half Pato for Sheva and maybe Cardaccio and Seedorf to replace Kaka and Ronaldinho if both are tired. Revert to 4-3-1-2. Cardaccio and Ambro push-up become more of Defensive MC and Flamini to sit Deep.
(if Kaka and R80 too tired)

--------------------------Seedorf-------------------------
-------------Cardaccio---------------Ambro---------------
--------------------------Flamini--------------------------

We must try our best to pin Lazio in their own half. Cardaccio-Ambro-Flamini must do their best to cut out supply from Midfield and the 2 Central Defenders need to Push-Up but no too close to Flamini to Counter through balls and lay the offside trap. Since defence is always struggling then we might as well use Attack as the best form of Defence

I'd like to see this tried.....

----------borriello--------------
-----------pato-----------------
--kaka---------------dino--------
--------flamini--ambro---------
-janku-bonera-senderos-zambro

really dont think we should play paolo. Zarate and pandev's pace will kill him. W/o nesta to cover its a big prolem. On that note, not kaladze either, too mistake prone will give a penalty for sure.

I wanna give this 4-2-3-1 another try.... kaka, pato will run alot, and w/ pirlo out of lineup dinho have more freedom to sitback and assume that roll to a degree. If its notworking t halftime seedorf or emerson can come in and we can do the 4-3-1-2. I think if we play 4-2-3-1, flamini and ambro can sit back and control midfield... keep balls from zarate and make life diffiult for him. He is very dangerous. Also i liked the double teaming and attacking defense from kaka, pato i saw.... They need to pressure ledesma and backline like that... itll keep there attack from starting

finally.... im worried about brocchi

hahahahaha, ok i'll admit i doubted him. Later if u look at my posts i said i'd give him a chance but i have my doubts. I am still critical of our management as i thought a proven striker was more a necessity than ronaldinho. And no i dont think borriello is proven yet. But the way he's looking he could be in for a good season though.

Cant blame me for being bitter we got borriello+ dinho instead of adebayor/berbatov/eto +young cheaper playmaker :-D

BTW i am reall excited to watch zarate play.... him + aguero have been my fav young players in europe so far this season. Dream to see em at milan, but whatever. I only hope we score 5 goals cause i dont think we can hold lazio at 0.

however lazio will play more wide open, and not sit back like genoa so im confident

Even with his injury a while back, he's a strong physical striker... and he simply has different characteristics than say Gilardino. We took a risk, but I think with this risk there will be rewards.

I think we got the right players... and while I did support buying Eto'o... I realied his attitude is a major problem.

We will get Lazio on counterattack I think...

eitherway it should be most entertaining match of serie A season so far, which is good. Serie A could use it after slow start.

edit: he's also ore technically sound than gilardino.

Does anyone know where I can download the match. I don't think I'll be able to catch it live, but really don't want to miss it. If anyone has any info on where I can download it afterwards, please let me know.

Thanx.

if you're in the US, FSC is showing it at 1130 am. so you can record it. Or if you check there listings they'll replay it at night probably 11 pm

I was really against Boriello, but im glad he's back now. The two games he's had a few minutes in he has impressed me alot, I like to see strikers with character, strikers who are always making noise in the game. Boriello is better than Huntelaar! :P

For French people, this game will be shown on Sport + Sunday at 21:00 (I have to check the hour, you can go on Canalsat.fr to see it) ... so not live, but almost !!
