I cant believe inter wow luck is on there side this year.

Milan will destroy cagliari tomorrow because inter won today. If inter tied or lost today i know our beloved Milan would of choked instead of gain ground, so tomorrow 2-0 or 2-1 we win.....

Holy crap I just checked the table:

Quote:
CLUB GP W L D PTS GD
Inter 25 18 2 5 59 26
Juventus 25 15 5 5 50 20
AC Milan 24 13 5 6 45 16
AS Roma 25 13 8 4 43 6
Fiorentina 24 13 8 3 42 12
Genoa 24 11 5 8 41 10
Cagliari 24 11 9 4 37 6
We need this win tomorrow more than anything. A loss and Fiorentina could catch up to us, not to mention letting Juve get further ahead of us.

Indeed. Also we should at least get the 3rd spot cause Roma is knocking aswell. Don't forget that they changed the Champions League Qualifications, so it's harder to qualify from a 4th spot.

It's a home game so I hope Carlo Ancelotti doesn't repeat the same mistakes... Since Kaka might be out, R80 behind Inzaghi (hope he can play) and Pato (hope he is fit) with Seedorf, Pirlo and Flamini behind them.

Seedorf (Beckham) - Pirlo - Flamini

--------------R80----------------

-----Pato-------------Inzaghi-----

but i know Carlo will play,

Becks - Pirlo - Flamini

Seedorf - R80

---Pato----

and when he does that, I will be ANGRY..

Actually, we don't care about the other results ... even if Inter, Juventus and Roma had lost yesterday, we would have to win at all costs today !!

In one way, we have to earn points to secure our 3rd place (and when you look at the table, it's going to be like last year, a race between 4-5 clubs for one or two places, I hope only for one place, the 4th, and we won't be included in this race as we'll be between the 1st and 3rd place ), but in another way, we could have had to win points just to come back on Inter and Juventus if they had lost yesterday ... so today is just a win-needed game, especially as a loss could allow Cagliari to be in the race for CL too.

1. I hope we keep a clean sheet.
2. I hope Carlo plays the best CD pairing possible
3. I hope Carlo gets the midfield selection right, and if not, makes corrections early.
4. I hope Pato and Pippo start
5. I hope we have an easy, injury free, victory...
Siempre Milan....Milan Siempre.

AC Milan is facing one of the most important matches in their Serie A fight. They can win and close the gap to Juventus to 2 points limiting the space up to direct CL football. Lo Scudetto is a dream, one that is slipping further and further away.

The side is without good players and is up against a very in form Cagliari who is fighting for UEFA Cup football by sealing 27 points in 13 matches.

I believe Carlo Ancelotti will field a good lineup. One that is balanced and offensive. We must be aggressive in defence shutting down their counterattacks and general build-up play. Other than that play with focus and balls to attack the Southern Italian team.

I believe Ancelotti will play with this formation:

Abbiati

Zambrotta - Kaladze - Maldini - Jankulovski

Beckham - Pirlo - Flamini

Seedorf - Ronaldinho

Pato

Forza Milan!!!

its:
--Zambro-Bonera-Maldini-Favalinho-
---------Flamini--Pirlo-------
---Beckham--Seedorf--MArek--
-------------Pippo-------

Best we can do right now, except for Favalli and not Antonini. Why is Favalli better for LB then Antonini is beyond me but lets see in 90min what will Favalli show.

MILAN-CAGLIARI: LE FORMAZIONI UFFICIALI
22/02/2009

MILAN: Abbiati; Zambrotta, Bonera, Maldini, Favalli; Pirlo, Flamini, Jankulovski; Beckham, Seedorf, Inzaghi.
CAGLIARI: Marchetti; Pisano, Canini, Lopez, Matheu; Fini, Conti, Biondini; Cossu; Jeda, Acquafresca.

4-4-1-1
we seem to be depending on the wingers, becks and Janku, with Pirlo and Flamini helping the defence, Favalli as an added CB with Zambrotta going forward when he can

the only thing that might be annoying, is lack of creativity in attack :|

Bench anyone? I want to know if R80 can play tonight.

I'm pleased something other than the usual is being tried and Flamini is playing. On the other hand, it seems like a defensive team that lacks firepower upfront.

Where is Pato, our only hope, and the only player can light up Milan at this time??

One of the reason for me to look forward to Milan games is Pato. Without him, that sucks!!!
