I'm just happy we (might) have another signing, now we just need another, and another ...

MILAN - A.C. Milan communicate they have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the purchase of striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. The Dutch footballer will be subjected to the medical checks tomorrow, after which he will sign a contract which will keep him at the Rossoneri club until 30 June 2013.

Not the medical test

Anyway best of luck hopefully you can be as good your fellow countryman Van Basten.

Didn't they say all this about Cissokho? That it was official, that he was the best thing since sliced bread, etc etc.

No doubt we'll find Huntelaar has a receeding hair line or an ingrowing toe nail that will 'Cause deep reservations about his long-term health & fitness with the club'!

I'll only believe it when i see him starting a Serie A game for us!!!!

He may have been behind Dzeko and Fabiano in our pecking order but that doesn't mean he's not as good. True, Dzeko is a quality player but Fabiano is vastly overrated and I'm sure we don't want anymore overrated Brazilians. Huntelaar has a point to prove. Only time will tell, and he'll need the appropriate supply, but I think this will turn out to be a fantastic signing. He's done it at every level he's gone too. He was getting on fine at Madrid and had they not been run like somebody playing champ manager, he'd still be there.

He can be the best, the worst, the first, the last, the <you put it here> signing of this summer, as he is the only signing we will make! (Onyewu doesn't count!)

JIM: yes, they actually said Cissokho would be the face of the new era of Milan on the official website. they even agreed a 15m free (verbally) but then came up the famous medical.

Didn't one of Galliani or Berlusconi say Cissokho was the best young left back in the world or some such nonsense like that? Then we refuse him because he might have a bad tooth. Doesn't seem to have bothered Lyon in the slightest.

Back to Huntelaar though. A couple of reports are saying Boriello will now leave. Now i know the Dutchman is probably better than the Italian, however surely if Boriello goes we're back to where we started in terms of numbers/options?

Borriello will not leave. And Cissokho tranfer wasn't canceled because of his teeth. That was bull**** for the media. Berlusconi stopped the transfer, because he said that 15 million euros is too much for Cissokho.

Dzeko - Risk = He could be a one season wonder.
Fabiano - Risk = Yes he plays for Brazil, but until he represents Brazil at the world cup, will he have been properly tested? Also the pressure at Sevilla isnt the same as the pressure of playing for Milan a year before the world cup.
Huntelaar - Risk = His best football was in a poor league.

Solution = Choose one and take the risk. Now lets hope he outshines the other two.

Huntelaar scored 8 goals in 20 games for Real Madrid. Furthermore he wasnt playing 90 minutes in 14 of these 20 games. I think these are pretty impressiv stats, since the Primera divison is (right now) at least equally strong as the Serie A. I'm verry happy with this deal, concerning that he's a young player who hasn't won anything big. Hungry players like him are what Milan needs nowadays.

It still show that he is still unproven except in poor League in Eredivise (compare to big european leagues).

LMAO Sirger, I have a feeling you would complain about someone giving you a million dollars even. "Where am i supposed to put all this money?" LMAO.

You are the king of negativity, The Godfather of Downers, etc

Please tell me some negatives about Fabiano and Dzeko and i will feel better.

If it is negativity, please show me where the negativity is. Talk about fact, not feeling, please.
