Well, Warro.
Agree to certain extent that UEFA seems to have more power than those rich clubs.
But from what you are suggesting, players' wages will go down as a result of these rules.

Now I admit that most players are probably overpaid but it will have a trickle down effect.
For ex: If lets say CR9 will be force to earn 4mil due to these rules, guys like Benzema will than earn about 2mil....but what about young players or small team players who are at top flight or lower division players? Young players might be earning 500K now, they might be force to earn 30K as a result, and lower division players might ended up being a part-time footballer to pay the bills, then there are those lesser players on teams in top flight.

The debt issue is a serious one, it does not only involve the big clubs, it actually includes a lot of clubs who are small teams but in top flight football. Thus introducing those rules will actually hurt those teams that UEFA trying to save.

True, UEFA can asks FIFA to ban players to play in WC or Euro as long as they are not playing in UEFA league, but won't that be illegal, as FIFA will be favoring toward one body of football asso. over another. On top of that, maybe all these billionaires from Middle East, instead of buying football teams in Europe they will start having their own top leagues in the MIddle East and start attracting top notch players in their prime with wages..... Can UEFA puts a stop to that? That way, top players can have higher wages and still plays in the WC and Euro. At the end, all clubs will Europe will suffer, I doubt that whats UEFA wants.

You see Warro, maybe UEFA can put a stop to those big clubs in EUROPE by enforcing those rules in 2012, but they cannot control players movement. And if as I stated, there is top flight league in the Middle East with top notch football and players....CL will not be the same without players like Messi, CR9, Kaka, Pato, Ribery, Ibra and others.....even if Milan, Real, ManU...are all in it.

Overall, I am all for fair competitions and wish that there will always be a different final 4 in UCL, but I don't think it can happen as long as these teams are in different countries with different rules.
