AC Milan-Cagliari Giornata 13

Its good Seedorf didnt play and friendlies and Pirlo and Zambro were back earlier. Now the team can focus on Cagliari and Marseille. Pato and Dinho also had a chance to train normally, as well as Nesta, Rino, Ambro, Flamini etc.

This stop could do us good considering we werent rotating much lately!

unfortunately Thiago Silva also played the entire match against Oman but at least the match was played on tuesday so he did not get the rest we hoped for but he should be fine for sunday...

I find it quite "funny" that very few of our players play for their national teams. I remember when back in the day all of our first XI and even benchwarmers would be called for international duty.

Anyway, lets hope the rest will do us some good.

Will he still risk playing Pato, Seedorf, Borri and Huntelaar?

According to Goal.com, Ronaldhino s caught a flu, so guess he s not featuring our first XI tommorrow. Wondering who Leonardo s got in mind. For me the team should look like this:

Dida-Oddo-Silva-Kaladze-Zambrotta/Antonini-Flamini/Ambrosini-Seedorf-Pirlo-Pato-Huntlaar-Boriello

i wouldn't play both huntelaar and boriello at the same time... maybe i'd go for a 4-3-1-2 with seedorf support pato and boriello.. hope R80 is fine though, gazzetta have him starting in their predicted lineup

Funny how R80 has moved from being a non-starter in most peoples 11, to an almost essential component of their selection.

I'm quite worried actually that he might miss the game...

Nesta's absence is also a major (and potentially more serious) concern, and I hope Kaladze can step up his game.

Even i at first tht of not playin Bori and huntlaar together, but i think Boriello can do fine on the left coz huntlaar deserves a game with 90 mins.

the 4-3-3 is our winning formation, i am not sure if Leonardo would want to change that. If dinho s fine, then good.

Maybe because, probably a bit like Leonardo, we tend to think that for moment, it's better to let our "winning team" like it is without changing too many things ...

Ronaldinho should be fit according to Leo. Flamini though will be out for sure.

Have I a problem with my eyes or is Di Genarro neither in the called players nor the uncalled players ?

Leonardo:

"I believe that Ronaldinho will recover for tomorrow," he explained in a press conference.
