Kevin-Prince Boateng Switch From Portsmout To Milan Ready To Be Completed - Report
The long-winded switch is nearing an end...

Milan are ready to finalise a loan move for Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, a report from Tuttomercato has proclaimed.

Cash-strapped Pompey look liable to sell Boateng to Genoa, despite Anthony Vanden Borre’s refusal to make a switch to England. From the Grifoni, Boateng is set to be loaned out to Milan.

The Rossoneri have appeared on the fringes of the chase for the battling Ghana midfielder for much of the summer but are ready to take him for a year, with the accord set to be formalised at Milanello on Monday,

It is reported that they will sign a temporary deal for the former Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, who was such a driving force for the Black Stars in South Africa this summer.

Unless there is an unexpected glitch at this late stage, the move should go through imminently and is designed to help energise the Milan support, who have only purchased 16,000 season tickets in comparison to last term’s 27,000 sold.

After seeing our midfield again yesterday I want this deal to happen. I dont like Boateng as a person and I'm also not a big fan of him as a player, but he has power and energy! and that is something we lack bigtime in our midfield.
And we would Loan him so there is no risk, if he fails, he fails, so be it, no money lost. and if he does well we can buy him as there would be a buy-out clause, at least thats what rumours say!

I have to I want the best for milan and its clear we need some fresh legs in our squad. I never want too see a midfield gattuso-pirlo-ambrosini again, only Pirlo can still be a starter IMO, and max could be a decent backup, gattuso is over.

Esteban Cambiasso has goaded city neighbours Milan and fierce rivals Juventus following Inter’s victory in the Trofeo TIM on Friday evening.

The Argetine midfielder, who was a surprise omission from Diego Maradona’s World Cup squad this summer, helped his side to a 3-2 victory on penalty kicks over the Rossoneri and was not particularly complimentary about Massimiliano Allegri’s side in the aftermath of the encounter.

“Have AC Milan and Juventus improved? I think not,” he is quoted as saying by Milannews.it.

Romanian defender Cristian Chivu was equally unimpressed by the Diavoli during the scoreless encounter. “There is still a gap; tonight we were winning the derby with a lot of kids on the field,” he smiled.

Wesley Sneijder, who was named the top player in the Goal.com 50 earlier this week, showed a little more graciousness in victory. “Milan? Still fearful; we are aware of our strengths but we do not snub anyone,” the Dutchman said.

All three sides still have two weeks of fine-tuning to enjoy before Serie A hostilities start on August 28.

its these sorts of things that get clubs hated, why did Cambiasso have to come out and say that all he is doing is fanning the flames, something for which Balotelli was vilified for doing and now its quite acceptable, its pre-season still and we all have 0 points still, they should keep there mouths shut until the scudetto is nearly theres again.

Damn, we played against them with 25% of a team, the starters of the season being only Pirlo, Flamini and Abbiati, and despite that, Milito was stopped by Bonera (then Sokratis) and Yepes who are our second choices, and they say stupid stuff like this ?!

I hope we will destroy these arrogant puppets who won a CL for the first time in 50 years and think they're the greatest team of all times in official games ...

It is reported that Inter and Manchester City made an agreement for Balotelli: if he turns back in Serie A, it can't be in Milan. So the people who predicted we would have Balotelli when he will be 32-33 are maybe right ...

persconally i agree with cambiasso,we didnt seem improved,nearly the opposite..i cannot find a thing improved yesterday(maybe the degence's depth),and milito was stopped by yepes not bonera(who btw was not good at all against juve..).we can only keep amelia'a performance as a pro..we need a lot more to compete inter.

i think it'll be championship for the 2nd place only..

KAKHA KALADZE could be swapped with Camoranesi.

Today’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport, Milan have started negotiations with Juventus over a possible exchange between 32-year-old defender Kaladze and 33-year-old midfielder Mauro Camoranesi.

The Italian international was about to move to Birmingham City but the move eventually collapsed and now Coach Massimiliano Allegri has shown interest in him, as he wants more depth in midfield.

Kaladze meanwhile, is not in Allegri’s plans. The veteran was not included in the squad list for the last matches and Milan are keen on selling him.

It is said that AC Milan Sporting Director Ariedo Briada has spoken with Juventus chiefs yesterday in a hotel after the Trofeo TIM last night.

Meanwhile, Kevin-Prince Boateng will be a Milan player on Monday as reported by the Italian media.
