I guess it would help if i knew what a Borsone was. I'm sure someone will be kind enough to translate it.

Sounds like some sort of altercation between a small number of Milan ultras and Cagliari ultras and that maybe our banner (?) was burned? But the other Cagliari ultras supported us .... or something ... some kind of supportive gesture was made by the true Cagliari ultras ...

K I've been reading it on the BRN website. 30 Cagliari Sconvolt Ultras attacked 12 BRN Ultras (including 3 girls) and stole one of the banners they were preparing for the match vs. Cagliari in front of the stadium (due to new police regulations, thanks Catania, we have to show the banners to the police before matches now and they can decide what's appropriate or not), so they were busy preparing the flags for inspection, the main force of BRN wasn't at stadium yet and the Cagliari clowns came unescorted from the train station so they took advantage of the situation.

Minutes after the facts the whole of BRN went after the Cagliari peeps who saught protection by the police (lol what pussies) and the police restored the stolen banner to the BRN who burned it themselves to prove a point to the Sconvolts (I don't understand what exactly and imho there are other ways to prove a point but I won't mention them here as that is against site rules)

There was a brief fight also between 50 BRN and 50 Sconvolts but nothing serious, then the rest is blablalba about the Ultra code and warning that Sconvolts didn't respect the code and blalbalbalba...

Also they say that various people on forums are blowing what happened out of proportion as if there was a war going on and that wasn't the case.

Me personaly I would have taken all the, no... must resist

One would think that in the aftermath of shutting down football in italy...these "islanders?" would show some restraint.

I was there on Saturday and arrived around 90 mins before ko and there was no sign of any trouble.Il Barone didnt enter the Curva until just a few seconds before ko and he seemed in a decent enough mood.so Im not sure of his involvement in the rumpus.
A pretty cowardly act by the Cagliari Ultras as the Brigate are saying and even worse for them to then go to the police!Brigate do not look for trouble but if trouble looks for them they are more than capable of handling themselves!

hey killiegrade....seems like u know alot abt the ultras...do u kno where i can get BRN or any other ultar flags from?

They are really only available inside the Curva or at the Reunion meetings held on Thursday evenings.They didnt have much on sale last weekend at the Curva I think mainly as the seon is drawing to a close.You could also try e-mailing them via the website.We have BRN Scozia hats available if your interested?Beanie hats only but they are the dogs!

I don't know much about any of the groups in the Milan Curva. Can somebody tell me if the Milan Ultras have any political leanings? I know that the Inter, Lazio, Hellas Verona, Ascoli, Triestina ultras etc are right wing. What are the Milan Ultras? If anything at all.

p.s I would look through the thread to see if there is an answer but there it too many posts!

Fossa Dei Leoni was moderate left wing, BRN is right wing but not as extreme as Lazio or Roma for example. On your extreme right wing list you can add Sassuolo (division C1 and doing very well, they might come up to B), their ultras use banners where the double ss in the middle of Sassuolo is highlighted and have the SS Tottenkopf (BRN has the same btw) on their flags, Combat 18 is the Ultra Group name there.

Sorry to go off topic but what clubs in Italy have left wing ultras? I only know of Atalanta and of course Livorno.

Are there any others? Thanks for the help, it's something I am particularly interested in.

Atalanta are not left wing but neutral imo, There's Livorno but a smaller team has full left wing ultras also : Ternana with the Ultra Group "Red Boys" their symbol is the hammer and siccle (spelling?) of the former Soviet Union in a red star.

Vicenza and Perugia have several ultra groups both right wing and left wing, if there are not enough away supporters they fight amongst themselves lol.

I'm sure that in the C2 and D divisions there's also smaller ultra groups that are left wing but they are not very known because they're small.

But in Italy I would say the vast majority of political inspired Ultra Groups are right wing to extreme right wing. Some are not political inspired and I think that's better because politics and sports should not be mixed imho.

In Milan they do try to keep politics out of the curva.BRN certainly say they are non political.
