People who blame Gila is right. This guy arrived 3 seasons ago, and hasn't fully convinced yet. He was welcomed as a star, and given all the support from the crowd for more than 1 season and half. People started whistling him way after the usual San Siro standards.

It's not Milan who should adapt to Gilardino. It's the contrary. If he lives up to our expectations, ok. Otherwise, he has to go.

I give you a couple of FACTS:

1. Gila was paid 24 m euros. Now his price tag should be around the half. Why? He's not old.

2. Gila isn't part of Italy NT team anymore. Why ? Maybe the amount of people not convinced by his performances his increasing day by day.

Because he's garbage!!! Of the highest standard!

How can Pato have 5 goals in 8 games and Gila have...what does Gila have 7 or 8. He's not good the numbers don't lie in his case.

Is it just me, or does the management always have some lame excuse for playing so poorly in Serie A...

Last year it was the calciopolli scandal... fine we lost 8 points, but if we lost to inter by a mere few points, fine, I can accept it. But no, we were lagging behind by a huge 20+++ points...

Now this year, i just read Galliani's excuse for the Lazio draw, "we paid the price for playing in so many competitions"... come on, we knew all year long that we were going to play all those competitions, it's not like we were caught by surprise, we had all summer long to plan for it... We even had the winter market to do something about it..

Looks like the management decides on a excuse, and uses it all season long... Milan must have plenty of spin doctors!!!

I would really love to hear Galliani and co admit "we over estimated the team, and should have reinforced the team, or keeping Gila and letting up on Toni was a mistake, etc etc. Sorry fans, we made a mistake, but rest assured we will not repeat it next summer"

Time for some simple truth...

And even if numbers say Gila has scored many goals in Serie A, in Italy we say goals shouldn't be counted, but weighed up.

You have a point, but now you can't say that. You won't have any positive consequence. Otherwise, you would break the dressing room in a important moment.

You're above comments is what I said as soon as I heard the,"we're tired" shpeel.
But when you think about it, this is the first time I think Galiani is putting the blame on Berlu. We all know Berlu holds the cash, we all know Berlu is the onw that pulled the plug on the Ribbery and Toni deal that Galiani set up.
I think this is Galiani's way of saying, "this present team can't get the job done Mr.President, and these are the consequences of not buying some world class talent over the summer, so time to open up you purse strings and let me buy some world class players." The players are saying it too.
2 or 3 will arrive this summer with the departure of some of the players that have become like old pictures on the walls of Milan.

First, i totally agree that Gila is crap (these days) and he can't be selected based on history and reputation.

But then again, who selects the team? It's Carlo! Why does he insist of putting Gila in the 1st team, all the time? The same arguement could be said about Dida, if he wasn't injured, Carlo would keep on playing him. Carlo was FORCED to play Kalac due to Dida's injury, and look how much more Kalac has given to the team. IF only Carlo had the guts to bench Dida earlier, we would have won so many games (wouldn't have lost to inter). Not just strikers win games, Goalies too!

It's pretty obvious 18 yr old Paloschi is doing a better job than Gila, i think even Pato upfront alone would do a better job, but why doesn't Carlo just bench Gila?

I believe Gila has been given way too many chances, we've been 'baby-ing' way too long, and i think it's the coach's job to put a stop to it...

Saw the game, disappointed with the result, even if I kinda predicted it....

Based on the players available, and considering Seedorf's injury, I thought we looked ok, and can't really complain about the result.

Do agree with those critical of Gila though....Paloschi and Pato even if very different types of forwards, really highlighted how poor Gila is playing at the moment....

Hope we can field a better side vs Arsenal on Tuesday, or we surely will be out.

We are old, and there for TIRED. Young players dont get tired in march! That is the truth, not Galliani's bull....

Now on to Arsenal and Pirlo,Nesta,Kaka',Pippo and Pato!!

Looks like we will be in the UEFA Cup next season....unless Juve starts to "freefall" down the table, and the Viola start to drop points (neither of which I think will happen)

Blame is sure to be placed at the feet of management, players, and coach.....and at this point, I personally don't care....
