But if you were fair, you would also say that Italy played like a Serie C team and that you could have put Torres or Villa or Drogba or any other striker to replace Borriello in this game, the result would have been the same.

I'm actually afraid for Italy: even if friendlies are not what they do the best, after a qualifying group like they did (just playing bad), the least people could hope is to see a good Italian team in the pre-WC friendlies.

Teams like Spain, England, Brazil, Argentine or Germany have more or less found the team that will be sent in South Africa and so they play like real teams.
Teams like Italy, France and probably some other ones are just bad and have changed too much since the last Euro (and not always in good ways). Worrying at 100 days of the WC.

Sorry for the off-topic.

Galliani has a fixation with Julio Baptista it says on Football-Italia.com. He says I like the player alot and Sensi knows this too he would like to bring him to Milan.

WO WO WO WO WO , No fuking way this guy is a bad player he plays as an attacking Midfielder/Striker he has 12 goals in the last 4 and a half years and 8 assists this is not a good player he is not what we need , sure nothing in papers or interviews is true as they say , saying aint doing.

But this would be awful and he is the forward we buy IF , then we might aswell renew Inzaghi for 5 years on 100 million a season instead.

Baptista? The last time he impressed me was when he played for Sevilla and that's, what, a century ago?

About 6 years ago , he is a mess of a player hasn't been a starter in almost 5 years for any club or his country. He doesn't score or create much at all he looks slower sluggish on the ball his shots are bad his dribbles are bad he can't head a ball.
Maybe its a confidence thing but he has been pretty bad for about 5 year's and would be an awful buy , But hey if he's cheap and getting on in age and for sale he'll probably end up at Milan .

I got a bit excited when that story about Dzeko agreeing a move to Milan , even though it was just paper talk but its been a week and ofcourse no further talk. I wouldn't mind (well I would) if we didn't get Dzeko or anyone but stop saying that this player is great and that player is great when Baptista is not a good player.

Stitch is an unknown quantity at this point
I really wanted Baptista when he was in Sevilla, but he proved me wrong. He showed nothing since he went to RealM, and would probably be cheap. That's why I think this is a very realistic rumour

Whats the point though I mean he will offer nothing and I mean nothing , he is a Siena level player 6 or 7 goals a season and he couldnt even do that at RMadrid Arsenal or Roma who all create lots of chances no thank you Galli no thank you...

G. Rossi would be nice. Italian, young, Milan fan, and actually useful.

Nah, G Rossi makes too much sense for us to sign. Based on our trend the last few years, we will sign someone that makes absolutely no sense, like Gallas or Toni.

It seems Jankulovski has confirmed this is his last season in Italy.

It will be an interesting summer. With both Janku and Kaladze certainly out and Favalli and maybe Oddo also probably gone, we could see quite a change to our squad.

It'll be interesting but only on the paper

We're gonna be linked with many defenders before Galliani steps out announcing that in keeping with our family values, we now add another experienced champion for free: Christian Panucci
