Summer Mercato 2010

Welcome back Lebanese. Not much going on, summer of lowered expectations as far as Milan is concerned.

the most important acquision imo the last 6-7 years considering the circumstances..not only for tactical reasons(btw we could see a whole different team offensively,especially if dinho is not indefferent,him and pato will party every sunday),but for prestige(that we so much lack in, the last couple of years)reasons too,that give personality and confidence to every team and make the opponents fill their pants..

and i dont belong to the optimistic ones(the last 3-4 seasons at least)..

Yes, i agree. I really wish we loan him. I still believe he is a HELL OF A PLAYER. He kinda reminds me of Van Basten. Partydinho, Prince, Ibra and Pato (like, you know, when he's not injured) looks really good to me. And buy VdV to have an ass kicking team.

Anyway, like the Everly Brothers said all i have to do is dream...

The test resulted KPB is the second fastest of Milan, after Oduamadi.

What about Pato? For sure he didn't race cause he was injured right?

Ibra news by Braida is good...we're used to denying alot of players but saying he is possible means the cash is available.

I think the result based on players' record, not a contest among them. Pato has skills, so he can go past anyone, that make us think he is the fastest. Some players like Suazo is very fast but they can't get past defenders. Even Usan Bolt looks slow if he has the ball near his feet

We have quite a mercato until this moment, only a big one is lacking now. Ibra is not my favourite, but that could change if he comes

If Barca want 40M for Ibra, we could get him on loan with option to buy about 25-30M. The gap is Ibra's wage in a year. There is a "must buy" if the player is not seriously injured and we'll play CL in 2011-2012. Well, just my opinion

After getting KPB our midfield is set. Unless we sell Klaas, our attack is set. The only potential addition is a backup LB, but that's not a big priority. The fear is what to do when (yes, when) both Antonini and Zambro are injured. Maybe we can combine Kala and Jankulovski into one okay Frankenstein LB. If the procedure doesn't work at least they end up dead.

First of all, the rules are very confusing as the FIGC is always changing them...

So now it can be stated.. Serie A teams can sign 1 new Non-EU player Each year.... Now i finally understand it.. thank you...

As for KPB.. he's young and has energy but he's not Honda, or Van der Vaart.

Frankly, he may not fit well in the system... I hope he does but we'll see..

He also has been a problem in the past. He has a bit of a "Balotelli" attitude and can be a dirty player....

KPB is a solid addition, not the one we need but good...

Boateng says its a dream to play for Milan , and he will do his best to help Miln be successful.He also says please judge me by my performance on the pitch , the past is the past.Well he seems to know what to do I think he will try hard and hopefully will prove my doubts to be injust.

Cannot see Ibra coming to Milan if we didnt have the 6 million for Boateng , I understand Berlu cannot be spending atm as the leader of Italy , but that does not mean that Milan cannot spend the money they make surely they had 6 million for Boateng and if not there is something really really wrong.And as the saying from Preziosi is Milan have alot of players out of contract next year , we all know in our heads that they will be extended beyond that , as much as they wanted rid of Oddo and Kala they split the salary over 2 years but will still have to pay 4 million as nobody wanted them last year this year and nobody will want them next year.
To me that is just away of not having to replace players and spend money we have these two for 2 more seasons.And when the deals happened the thought was we'll save 4 million on them this year and the Zambro deal that was a total save of 6 million yet we couldnt pay for Boateng something odd there.We have spent no money in 3 mercatos on players , actually I stand corrected we bought Hunter and would pay 15 million over 3 years which means even if we sell him we have to pay 10 million to Madrid.Our signings will not do much for the team to ellevate it its the same as last year and is still an aging imobile team , Merkel and Strasser Verdi looked good in pre season for young guys yet are not in the full first team thats disappointing aswell.

Milan could have bought Boateng. But being able to do it this way as part of all this summer's dealings with Genoa allows Milan to try him out before buying. If he works out, Milan can buy him next summer when -- according to Genoa's head honcho -- Milan will be out from under contracts and able to spend more. If Ibrahimovic comes, it will also be on loan with an option to buy.

Fair comment but next year we will have to pay whatever Genoa want if we are to get him.Ibra on loan hopefully but i won't bank on it it will cost us money , his wages are 9 million i think and the loan what would that cost. They say time after time that unless we sell we have no funds , so sell Hunter and get Ibra on loan pay his wages for a year and then have no money again.

If Ibra comes, I choose Huntelaar stay and we play 4-3-1-2. Pato+Ibra or Pato/Ibra+Hunter for our duo strikers upfront.
