Gila can't complain about Milan's after new striker. Look at other club striking partner like Rocchi+Pandev or Toni+Mutu who netted about 30 goals last season. Gila did score 12 times but the rest of our strikers (except Ronaldo) did poorly last year. Just the same, I doubt we'll swap him with Inter. We don't need Adriano or any other part-goer

I'd go for Adriano over Gila any day. To be honest Adriano not on form plays similar to Gila most of the time and when Adriano is on form, he is unstoppable. I believe Milan would give Adriano the right atmosphere to settle down and become more serious as opposed to the circus atmosphere at inter.

I'm not the biggest fan of gila but i prefer him to adriano If we can't get huntelaar or pato then we should keep him

Pippo just scored twice as Italia win 2-1! Im afraid we have some problems with Galliani again,and that Moratti will do everything possible to hurt Milan's mercato just like last year. We did great this year by winning CL, but we havent won Serie a for 3 years now and that should be our first priority. For that we really need few players, and I hope Berlusconi will do something baout it.

Once again I saw Ribery today. Perfect player for us, he could really help a lot.

Its all about Adriano, not Inter. He is the only having trouble over there, so it isnt Inter's fault if he likes to go party every night.
Now, switching teams could be a positive thing for him. Like starting again from zero and go from there.

Scoring less than 15 goals in a particular season is ok. Since Gilardino has score so many goals in the 3 seasons before. Just 1 season down on his luck. I hope he will stay with us and start being a goal machine again. Oliveira can go, Inzaghi can retire, but not Gilardino. The best young striker of Italian, Forza Gilardino.

Come on guys! Milan is and always will be one of the 6 internationally established teams in the footballing world. A worldclass team, needs every player to be of a basic talent level. Only if they have that basic level of technique and quality, can they use their other skills like determination or leadership skills to play at the very top. It should take more than a handfull

I've been in the soccer business professionally too long to know that I do not have the luxury of holding a grudge or involving any emotional factors in my judgements. Equally I have nothing against Tuncay personally. The reason that I'm against Tuncay's "possible" transfer to Milan is that I'm sure he will fail and I'd hate to see another example of Turkish player failure in the int'l arena.

There so many players who reach a certain level of technique and quality at a young age and never go to the second gear due to quite a many reasons. IMHO, Tuncay is one of them. He was already a 10-12 carrats gold when he came to Fenerbahce. How many more carrats has he put on since? Zilch.

Instead of covering up for his lack of fundamental build-up or further shining his strong sides with extra work, he preferred to be fan-phenomenal rather than decisive. Works back at home, but he and his agent should know better that it takes A LOT MORE to survive in the league of big boys.

Tuncay is a very much over rated one trick pony who believes his own hype! He is an energetic and athletic driving midfielder, but he lacks the vision, technique, intelligence and patience to become a truly great player. Quicker, stronger, younger doesn't make you better, performances on the pitch do.
He only shows flashes of brilliance but only just enough to tease people into increased expectations, not enough to fulfill them. He still can't cross a dangerous ball into the box regularly enough, no good percentage of accurate shots on the goal or, lacks decent ball control which is one of the central tenets of football, gets dispossessed on the ball on many occasions when he should play a simple pass. With all those missing he is certainly too many tricks and not enough penetration. This is his solo capacity evaluation.

Team evaluation just frustrates me even more. He runs up blind alleys w/ no end product, gets too excited thinking he has to do it all on his own, forges no understanding of playing one-twos, lacks discipline, no positional awareness, does not link up play or bring in his teammates into areas of action or stretch the game for others.

It must be tricky having him running at you. Drawing defenders to you and creating space inside is only good if you give it to someone those defenders aren't marking, but too often the head goes down, he indulges in some hip wiggling and misses the chance to play the killer pass to take advantage of the marking. He is far too selfish just because he is constantly putting his own image above the need to win the game.

Often, he only seems to play well in games when they receive absolutely no pressure whatsoever and everything is great, but when everything is going bad he disappears from the game and I'm afraid that too many times he just looks ordinary. With space he is sometimes effective, but against combative and skillful players he is simply not good enough and does not actually show up on the radar at all. He apparently can’t perform on the big stage and only ever really prospers against teams that believe his hype and give him the room start.

But NOT holding the ball up well and losing possession 90% of the time he gets it is quite a unbearable liability, particularly if everybody wants to eulogize about how great he is all the time.

I could have gone for pages of negatives accompanied w/ examples of his foul-ups frm specific games, but nuff said. All of the above have been based on me watching him live in +100 games frm a professional's POW. So, if anybody wants to discuss Tuncay w/ me, please feel free to do so on a rational basis. But don't give me all these mere postings of Tuncay's stardom or being great in this game or best player on that game BS. I think this forum deserves more than that.

Also, some of you might think "If he is such a bad player then why is he still on Fenerbahce's roster?" Well, simply he is one of the so-called untouchables. Why do I want him off the team? Cause we need fighters for the team, not fighters for themselves and I love my team above any name. The nick says so.

Alberto Gilardino has told Milan he is sick of being treated as a flop and is looking at other alternatives. “I cannot guarantee I will stay.”

The striker moved from Parma for around £18m in 2005, but has struggled to live up to that price-tag and in two seasons has managed just two Champions League goals.

With Ronaldo no longer cup-tied, Filippo Inzaghi on fire, Kaka moved to a more advanced role and reports that Andriy Shevchenko will return after his spell at Chelsea, there is less and less room for Gila.

“The situation is simple. I am happy at Milan, but I cannot guarantee I will stay here,” he told the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport.’

“I have a long contract and an excellent rapport with the Rossoneri environment, but anything can happen in football and I am evaluating other options. I would not be honest if I denied that.

“For me the faith of the club and the Coach are indispensable. In the past I had that and would like for it to be there in the future.”

The decision to drop him in favour of Inzaghi – who scored a decisive brace – for the Champions League Final against Liverpool seems to have left its mark.

“I want to be able to play without all these doubts being raised on my first error or negative performance. At the age of 25 I want to play consistently and repay Milan for the investment they made in me.

“I thought I would play in Athens, I admit it. When I found out I was on the bench, I was disappointed,” he confessed.

“But I always put the team above all personal considerations and just tried to concentrate so I could do my best in the few minutes that Carlo Ancelotti granted me. Lifting the trophy put all that disappointment behind me.”

With constant rumours of new hitmen from Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o and Shevchenko coming to San Siro, will Gilardino ask to be sold if another forward arrives?

“I am not afraid of competition. I have always sought my space with great champions like Shevchenko, Inzaghi, Christian Vieri and Ronaldo. If the competition is fair and the player who is in the best shape goes on to the field, then I have no problems.”

This week there were claims in the newspapers that Gilardino had openly offered himself to Inter, but he and his agent denied these suggestions.

“That is absolutely not true,” the former Parma man told the ‘Gazzetta’. “I can pledge to the Milan fans, who I get along very well with, that I have not approached anyone, let alone Inter. A few supporters jeered me this season, but the majority are behind me. I want to repay them with many goals.”

Among those linked with a summer bid for Gilardino are the new Juventus and Barcelona, who are probably seeking a replacement for Eto’o.

“These are great clubs and I am pleased to hear of their interest, but Milan are the top club. It’s difficult to imagine walking out on them and they are my first choice. However, if I didn’t feel they had faith in me, then I would look elsewhere.”

When asked point blank if he felt he was always facing tests of his abilities and that there were doubts around him, the World Cup winner answered truthfully.

“Yes, I feel that I am in doubt and in all honesty I don’t know why. I think this is surreal and at times it seems like an incredible situation.”

In two seasons Gilardino has scored 29 Serie A goals for Milan and was their top scorer this term on 12 in 30 appearances.

I think personally Gilla is on his way out.

Galiani told that all players will stay with club but after see this I also thin that gila is out.....I am very sorry gila is very good italian striker and has only 25.If can bring tevez huntellar or torres than I think it s better for gila to go away.But if bring sheva and say ciao to gila that will be very very crazy. It s seems that we have another bad transfers this year
