guys and gals no reason to hold my/our heads down, I hope we continue in the same fashion we have done in the past 4 years. We have been at the pinnacle of Europe for the past 4 years, and I hope Galliani and co are wise to maintain continuity, and maintain our success in Europe. No, I don't believe Carlo should leave, and we should just add a few defenders and a forward. Guys and gals I'm signing of for the season. Hope all of you have a wonderful and fun-filled summer. Let me add that I'm sad to see Stam leave, he has been a wonderful servant to the rossoneri cause
Enjoy Cope Del Mundo everybody
ciao

It's very very difficult to play at Camp Nou and if the ref does these kind of things it's almost impossible to win! I'm not saying Barca didn't deserve to go through, I'm just having problems with the way they go through!
fair comment Sylvia. Let's hope the Azzurri have better luck this summer

Yep F*CK YOU MERCK! The ref was worst than the one in the 1st leg tonight.

We were the better side over the 2 legs be on doubt, really gutted we didn't make it, we had more possession, more shots on goal but just lacked that pass for a goal *cough Pirlo* but when we did score it just got given a foul on Puyol anway: IMO Pirlo played another poor game tonight, but on a good note Seedorf played well as did Dida, Stam, Kaka and Kaladze did great. Anyway we have to look foward to the Livorno game now keep or heads up high as we played a fantastic game tonight. It's easier to take than istanbul at least.

And Markus Merk takes Barcelona to final! It's Barcelona's year...

Clear goal from Sheva!

3 minutes injury time and he whistles at 2:40!

Btw, Milan was the only team to give so much pressure at Nou Camp.

Proud to be Milanista!

True, no one had mentioned that he whisted at 92:40...

but still our players went to thank the tifosi in the stadium, then to congratulate the Barcelona players... Seedorf was huging them with tears on his eyes...

Grande Milan!!!

we leave europe with our heads held high, the two best teams in europe played tonight the deciding factor was a refereeing error

gila played in the first leg,but what is the result?
yeah,i agree we need some youner player, but when the old player just like Pippo, who still playh his heart likes a 28 years old, then why should we exclude them?
many ppl think young=good, but then is it all the old players should play at Siena, Messina....or retire like Zidane?
Many ppl find excuse that Gila did't score in CL just because he is young, needs more experience, but tghe fact tell us that age is not the main problem, some players cann't play well at European competition, because of the tactic and others, just see how Pippo and Sheva scored when they play their first CL
i am not a gila hater, but i want to remind that, he is the forwards who play most in Milan this season, why you still think Pippo steals his first11 position?

im not that angry, we played a good game, we went out with our heads held up high, and we lost to a great team who wasnt better over the two legs, but honestly... that was a goal, and it wouldve changed the outcome

well done to milan.. great game.. i think ronaldinho should have been the ref, everytime he asked for a foul, he got it.. he got too much protection from the ref.. what a TERRIBLE call by the ref to cancel sheva's goal..

now to our team:

well done ancelotti, excellent tactics and put in some good mentality into the team..IMO his only mistake is bringing in Gila who again was invisible when he came on.. maybe he could have gotten another defender off for Gila, I dont know, but Pippo shouldnt have come off.. if anything, it should have been Sheva for his dismayal performance..

great milan today and now i hope all you fans see what a great loss we have made by losing Jaap Stam next year.. he really is one of hte best defenders of the world.. what a gr8 performance by him.. unfortunately we didnt play with much heart today, i noticed.. so many times they could have quickly played the ball but just sat back and passed between defenders..no1 showed that spirit except Kaka and Pippo..

Dida played superb today.. I applaud him.. and guys, Kaladze is doing his best for Milan, but im sorry his best is not good enough for a team like Milan, he tried to attack 3 times, and lost the ball everytime, 1 was very close to them scoring but thanks to a great Dida and a clearance from Billy.

Anyway im so sad we lost in this way. 3rd CL in a row I feel that it really takes something special to beat us. This time it was them having 12 men. Markus Merk gave every 50-50 ball to them, and what the hell was with him whistling 20 seconds from time?????

Ancelotti spoke after the about bringing in new players. I hope either Gilardino has a great World Cup and gets some confidence back, or hes simply sold and we get someone else in. Also I'd like a new midfielder to freshen things up.

Well, we're out of the Champions League. And for some reason I am not too upset or mad, even at the ref. I am proud of all our players, coaches, the fans who travelled to the Nou Camp. We are still the elite of Europe. We have been in the semi-finals for 3 of the past 4 years, and you could argue that we should have been in the final all 4 years. We have a Champions League title, and if it wasn't for 6 freakish minutes we would have two. We can't be the best team every year, but we are consistently among the best of the world. What is another team that can boast the same accomplishments over the past 4 seasons?
Let's not be like Inter fans and try to find blame in everyone but ourselves. Yes, that Sheva goal should have counted but we can't deny that Barca played better football throughout the 2nd leg.
We still have the Scudetto to look forward, let's get that one final push and overtake Juve.
And whatever happens, I will wear the red & black with pride

FORZA MILAN FOREVER!

I almost cried in the end, we had Barce just where we wanted them when sheva scored REGULAR goal. If Merk alowed us that 1-0 lead, we would crush Barca. Im proud to be a Milan fan, speccially afted I've seen how poor this Barcelona crowd is. pathetic, no cheering untill the 90th minute. Curva is 100 times greater than this .....
And for our players, they did ok, I only want Pirlo to leave now while he still has some respect from other fans ( not me...). Once again he proved he cant defend, run, play under tight marking, play high tempo, and his passing is going down. He is slow and useless. Its the truth, we need to be real. I know he will stay and that only smaller changes will be made in this squad but...pirlo is slowing us down badly. Sedorf,Pirlo , Cafu were simply too slow. Simple as that, Barcas midfielders always got to theball first, doing what they needed to get a free kick. STAM DID GREAT JOB! BRAVO STAM!!
Lets hope we get a fast RB and a truly great midfielder to help seedorf-gattuso-kaka. Or pirlo-gattuso-kaka.
FORZA MILAN, WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR TO WIN THIS THING!!!!!!!!!

Rahul my man please... How could you say the only thing we lacked is luck when Barca wasted 4-5 clear chances? I expected a DO OR DIE spirit along with imposing our style on Barca.

When they got the ball instead of pressing we WAITED for them. Perhaps the match against Messina costs us the lack of fitness we terribly needed. Our defense was also shaky, especially Serginho. He didn't attack very often, but that's okay since perhaps Carlo told him so. But several times he only paid attention to the ball, and suddenly Giuly and Larsson sneaked in. Thank God we have Dida (our best player tonight IMO).

But what about our attack? Like it or not our double-playmaker style didn't work tonight, Kaka was tightly marked and Pirlo played awfully (were he even PLAY lately Carlo did everything he could, he sent Rui in, we dominated the possession but never really created clear chances like Barca did. Pippo was shockingly quiet but Sheva's goal should've been counted! And if you don't score, you won't win. Sad but true!

Lastly Barca deserves to be on Paris, but just like ACMILAN1983 said we can leave CL with heads held high. There are plenty rooms for improvement and I'm sure we can do better next year. We still have a chance to grab scudetto from Juve and the team desperately needs our support.

RAMBLE ON!! FORZA MILAN!!
