Ok, sometimes it turns out bad to keep a player against his will, but with time passing most of the players who wanted to leave at the beggining of the season started contributing.

Didn't Juve keep Camoranesi, Zebina and Trez against their wish ? Camo and Zebina even refused to play at the beggining. As the season went on, Camoranesi got to his old self and was a real beast. Trez started celebrating his goals the way he used to and the greatest suprise is Zebina. In second part of the season Zebina found the passion again. He was the best defender in serie B from January till June.

Again, teams shouldn't allow to be blackmailed by their employers ! Gila should leave only if it's a mutual decission and if the team also profits from that.

What I didn't like in that Channel4 interview was where Carlo labelled Kaka as immovable from the starting 11. IMO if ANYBODY sucks it up on the field they can/should be benched(as long as we have adequate replacement).

I think Carletto's statement is based on recent and present situation where Kaka is always in good condition. And the statement was proven that Kaka was always in good shape and give positive contribution to Milan to win almost every games, either with his assists or his direct shoots to score. Do you think that we can be at CL Finals and won the trophy without him..of course not to ignore all of Milan players who involve in those games. It is for no doubt that Kaka will be benched if his play doesn't match and help the squad to play its best..nothing to be said as this is a standard procedure in choosing players to go on the pitch in every game.

Let us be positive with Carletto's statement as we have to first trust our coach and all the players at his disposals approaching the next season which is for sure be tougher with the comeback of Juve.

...I was hoping Milan will go for some kind of defender, specially after Janku's performance Vs Liverpool. Glad to see Emerson being linked to Milan, is a Right-Now solution, don't need to use the excuse "oh, but he's got potential" with a player like him, either he plays and trains hard (knowing that his time is limited) or he'll just go the bench. Another reason is that unfortunately Ambro has a chronic injury problem, his injuries will continue. With Emerson coming, Oliveira will probably go the other way so we definitely need a striker; both ronnie and pippo are injury prone and it looks like Gila might leave so hopefully will get one of the following: R10, Henry, Eto or Sheva. This season has taught me a valuable lesson, you can invest for the future or you can invest for now which is why Milan seems to go for these players who we sometimes say are "old" but is cause they get the job done NOW, plus they are also cheap. Just look at Seedorf. After this season I have more trust and faith in the so-called veterans.

Inzaghi can't play every match, with his condition now, he can only pay 1->2 matches in 2 weeks, Oliveira can go, so we only have 2 main strikers Ronaldo and Gilardino. If Gilardino still has patience, he can certainly earn a place.

I don't like Henry. He can lose his shape easily, much more easily than Gilardino. And he is 30. I don't understand why most of carlo's interest are older than 29 while we are supposed to make our team younger.

Gilardino has failed to convince this season, and had hit out at the lack of faith in his abilities earlier in the weekend, insisting that he would "not confirm" his future unless offered guarantees.

He was good during the WC and for some period with liverpool thus having the right potential. I must admit some of his games with liverpool is really crap. my friend, an liverpool fan was praying for him to be dropped from the team cos he play so badly.

I don't see him as an excellent player now but he does have the potential and this season he was injuried and didn't really show his form after that.....

No, he played very well at the start of his transfer to Real madrid and i dare to say, that beckham is even better than the one i saw at Man U with more vision and variety to his play. But as his stay progress, his performance degrade like the rest the team with all those unrest, changing of coaches etc.

I won't lose sleep if he is coming over to milan, he can add something to our team.

Just read that Heinze is available for 5 mil (pounds). Barca or Madrid interested...I just keep thinking he's going to come back good, he'd be surrounded by the masters to improve his defence, and he's a marauder up the line.
