Only one question, dont you people think we need another one fast midfielder? We dont have any fast players except Kaka'. And if, is some horrible case, KAka' gets injured, we will have noone to change our rythm.

Im sorry but paying 25Mill for an unproven player who played in france(lol) is probably the biggest joke of the year, YES! there are some players who adapt to their new surroundings like Essein & Drogba but they play in the EPL. What about if we payed that much for a player who turned out to be a flop? I dont think that deal will go through as Ribery WANTED to play for a club which was in the CL and if he does decide to join that club then good for him.

Personally, I think Ribery is way overrated and too expensive he had one good world cup and his price shot up. Now you tell me 'IF' we went for Ribery before last years world cup how much would he of cost us? I can guarantee you that they would of sold him for 15 mill, only reason he is so expensive is because of the world cup and the number of teams that were after him e.g Real, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United etc.

I wonder why Galliani says the main objectives are an attacker and midfielder ( i bet my right hand the midfielder is not a Kaka type but it's Emerson ) . Why not a defender ?

As for Kaka.... what he said doesn't mean he'll certanly leave after 2011, but it also doesn't mean he'll certanly stay until 2011. Imo, what he said is only a guarantee he'll certanly be in Milan next season.
What i didn't like about his interview is how he says Inter and Milan are the teams who'll be fighting for lo scudetto.
I understand why he underrated Juve's or Viola's chances. I would have done the same thing. But why didn't he put Roma in the race ? The team that Milan didn't manage to beat on 4 matches this season and a team that gave a football leasson to Milan on at least 2 of these 4 matches.
I, just like Kaka, doubt Roma will fight for the scudetto. Roma's not a consistant team. They have a great year, then a bad one, then another good year, then an awful one. But if i was a Milan, or an Inter player (6:2 ) i wouldn't go public and say it's going to be Milan vs Inter only.

Ribery is still unproven, but the way he played for France during and AFTER the world cup, and the way he led Marselle to CL makes others think how he may be as succesful as other players comming from French league were in last 10 years.
Zidane from Bordaux and French NT, Henry and Trezeguet from Monaco and French NT, Pires from Marselle and French NT, Drogba and Essien comming from french teams.

This is what made his price so high. I expect him to be a success though, but i agree 25m Euro is too much at this point.

Seedorf and Gourcuff can play in Kaka' 's possition. They aren't as fast as he is, but then we only will need to change our style of play a little. Plus when we buy a substitute for Kaka', it would be to sit on the bench for most of the time, so it will not be a quality player if we do get a substitute.
But as I said we allready have Gourcuff and Seedorf, so we don't need another fast midfielder.

looks like a confirmation of those rumours about Carlos Eduardo. The player is quoted saying that Milan and Barca have both made an offer but Milan's is the higher (rumoured to be ~13mil) ... but Gremio is hoping for even more, close to 20 mil allegedly.

does anyone know anything about this kid?
He is a no one to me and considering that we got a player like Kaka - back then he was still a big name in Brazil - for 8-9 mil, I don't see Milan offering anything close to 13mil for this guy unless he is the second coming of Kaka or Robinho or whoever.

that's exactly why I hope Milan goes for someone like Keita or even a 33 yo Ze Roberto or a similar type of player ... especially if we don't get Dinho, which seems less and less likely as the days go by.

true seedorf and Gorky can play behind the strikers but some speed in midfield from a player other than Kaka won't hurt us either ... and it's not said that we hae to spend a fortune on such an alternative.

I'd say: Give us Diego! He's exactly the kind of player we need in midfield.

And I'd say: Diego will NOT accept the bench. The best place for Diego in Italy is Juve. As long as he doesn't have any great games against us I'll be fine with that

the Carlos Eduardo in question is 19 yo, playes for Gremio and has never been in Europe.
I think it was his name that was mentioned as the succesor of Anderson in Porto a day or two after it became official that ManU had scooped the youngster.

Ambrosini: Gilardino Should Stay

The Milan midfielder backs the Italian striker's stay with the Rossoneri, despite the latest controversy which erupted following Gilardino's comments.

Alberto Gilardino has been demanding more space in the first eleven, something which Carlo Ancelotti cannot guarantee him. This has invariably led to the speculation that the former Parma striker is on his way out of Milan, something which Massimo Ambrosini hopes that will not occur.

"He is fine at Milan, he's young and has a great potential," declared the Italian international player. "It's logical that he looks at the future. Ancelotti surely cannot guarantee the place to anyone."

With regards to the incoming transfer market, Ambrosini is certain about the arrival of two players.
"Milan will buy two other great players, one in attack and one in defence," confirmed Ambrosini, however he does not believe that Gigi Buffon will join the Rossoneri. "He would fit in really well in a group like ours, but I know that it would be a difficult operation."
Ambrosini has been linked to a move to Fiorentina in recent weeks.
