News sites are all reporting the quote Henry said "I am pleased that Milan are interested me".. im goin to bed now, by the time i wake up im sure some sites will say "Henry dreams of Milan" or "Henry invites Milan offer".. im pretty sure for the next few weeks we will be seeing people putting Henry in their fantasy teams for Milan next year..

Calciomercato says Emerson will be in Milanello on 18.06. for a medical. So, that is probably our defensive player Ambro is talking about. For a forward, I dont know , but I hope we get some of Eto'o - Herny - Pato.

I still claime Zambrotta would be our best possible transfer, still have my hopes for him !

Henry Invites Milan Offer

Thierry Henry's future at Arsenal has never been so insecure as the Frenchman openly expressed his delight at being targeted by AC Milan.


The European Champions have confirmed their intent to make an offer for Henry, who is also interested Barcelona and apparently Liverpool and it seems that the star striker is keen on the prospect of returning to Italy where he failed to make a success with Juventus.

Henry's only attempts to reassure Arsenal was to stress that he is still their player, but the ususal passionate pledges to star at the club were not to be seen as he expressed his sadness at the loss of former director David Dein, who left the club in April.

Thierry Henry yesterday added to the feeling of uncertainty at Arsenal by admitting that interest in his services from Milan was flattering and said he was "devastated" that David Dein, the former vice-chairman, left the club.

"It's great to hear [the Milan interest]," Henry said. "How can you not think that? On the other side as I said many times at the moment, I'm an Arsenal player.

"A lot of stuff happened at the club recently that wasn't supposed to happen. In terms of the departure of Mr Dein, the bosses have been unsettled and a lot of players have been unsettled. So the only thing I can tell you is right now I'm an Arsenal player but hearing that is nice, I can't deny it."

Regarding Dein, Henry added in an interview with Soccernet: "I was devastated [when he left]. Everybody who knows Mr Dein, knows he loves football. He knew everybody at the stadium, whether you play for the youth team or you clean the dressing room.

"He used to turn up if it was raining, snowing, windy, to watch the Under-17s, the Under-19s, the reserves - everybody - on his own at the training ground and one person that I wouldn't have liked to leave the board, would have been Mr Dein. Arsène [Wenger] and Mr Dein - although no one is bigger than the club - are really close to being Arsenal.

"But I would like to say that whatever happened, Mr Dein leaving wasn't a clever move. But it's out of my hands, I'm not up there. I don't know what happened, and I don't want to know what happened."

Arsenal's other superstar Cesc Fabregas has also spoken of how unsettled he is in an interview this week as it seem Arsenal are set for a long and hard summer.

Udinese are ready to sell their half for 10 mil ... only
but I think they would be happy with 7-8 mil too, which would make Q.'s price somewhere around 15 mil, which seems like a fair price at this momentin time whith him being all the talk in Italy.
Brocchi seems to be headed towards Torino but maybe Simic could be tempted at moving to either Samp or Udinese.

I have always preferred Henry over Eto, I know there is an age factor but to me I dont think Eto would be that good without R10. Henry on the other hand makes chances and provides the whole team. Please Silvio go for Henry, Dont let Barca take him.

channel 4 report that emerson has told cafu he will be playing at Milan next season. Rumours are that Milan have offered Oliviera as exchange.

Henry & Shevchenko
More or less around the same age,
Both have similiar skills,
Both signed to clubs which made them (Arsenal & Milan)
Both had doubts last season, one stayed the other left,

You think Carlo will continue with the guys he has (Maldini,Nesta, Bonera, Kaladze) ? Because i can't see someone good enough to join Milan this summer and take over Maldini, but on the other hand we know Maldini can't play every match while Nesta is getting injured a lot lately.

I don't think Mexes is out of reach ... it's just that whoever wants him now will have to pay sweet(-er) money to get him considering that his new deal would bring him 2.5 mil/season which is what Chivu is running away from ... plus, it's Roma we are talking about after all.

On the other hand, if Chivu goes to Inert, then Milan and Juve can almost surely forget about him, even if he underperforms there, 'cause I doubt Massimo the clown will risk to again become the laughing stock of Italy like in that Cannavaro deal he masterminded 3-4 years ago ... or the numerous deals with his beloved neighbours

Maybe we can still get Alex from PSV-Chelsky.... The summer is long...
