Hmmmm. Pellegatti works for Mediaset. Mediaset is Berlusconi's company. Which leads me to two possibilities:

1. Pellegatti actually has some inside information on this.

2. It's a ploy by Berlusconi to try to appease fans by making it appear that Milan is on the verge of acquiring Ibrahimovic, only to be able to say "Well, we tried as hard as we could" when the negotiations fail.

Time will tell.

I think you are completely right Mrki. If this Ibra deal turns out to be like the newspapers claim, then there is definitely something that we don't know. We will definitely pay some "unofficial" money. Because it simply doesn't make sense for them to give him to us just like that. Not even the old Moratti would do this deal.

About Kaladze.....I know you are joking, but Juventus a few days ago said that they are looking for a experienced CB. Well then there is no player more experienced then Kaladze. They can have him for free. (Who is to say that nothing in the world comes for free.......Kaladze is free) That way Kaladze can say that he finished his career in a big club. So Juve, just take him. I don't want Grosso here though. Because if he comes, he will probably get at least a 2 year deal and I don't think I can stand looking at him for 2 years. We have enough players that we are all praying for to leave as soon as possible.

Berlu/fester are quite capable of pulling an "unofficial" deal. like it happened with KPB. why would barca want Boriello in the first place ? he sucks. he should play for lecce or something. and why would ibrahimovic take such a big pay cut ? i am sure there are other teams who want him and could pay more ...

i think this is all just a stunt like last year's bad teeth and fabregas and fabiano and dzeko stunts ! in my opinion we will have to wait another year for a good mercato ! and geno can't buy us another player then it will look superbly suspicious ! imagine them buying dzeko and loaning him to us right away ?

I worry our interest in Bochetti is somehow linked to Thiago Silva.

If that is the case it would mean losing Thiago and gaining Ibra and Bochetti.

I would prefer to keep Thiago and stick with Boriello/ Hunter.

Guys our midfield will be lethal this year.

Pirlo, Flamini and Seedorf (yes Seedorf!) can worry about attacking, without having to babysit an incompetent defence. It will make the world of difference to them.

And if they have a slim Ronnie, fit Pato and confident Ibra (I prefer Dzeki - beggars can't be choosers) then they will have people to make the runs they were having to make and score the many assists that huntelaar and boriello were missing last year.

Please Galliani -You sold Shevchenko, you sold Kaka, you sold Yoann - Don't effin sell Thiago. I grew up watching Baresi and Maldini, I NEED Milan to have a quality defender!!!

That possible if: we pay 60% Ibra's wage and pay 100% Borri's wage for Barca. Just my opinion.

About home grow players, we already have: Oddo (oh man), Ambro (bought him young), Antonini, Abate, Pato (yeah, him), Strasser, Oduamadi & Borri

8 players already when we only need 4. I didn't even include Merkel & Verdi because they were not in official team on Milan's website.

We have about twice the required home grow number and twice grow in Italy so no need to worry about that.

can u imagine if we pull of ibra and robinho.

i wonder if barca would be nice enough to just add hleb for no extra cost. (just thinking to myself)
