Agree on those 2 points...if Darmian is going to get the same limited opportunities as last year, we need to send him elsewhere to see if he can get 15-20 games.

OR you play your youngster, OR you loan them out to a team who can almost guarantee them a place in their first team! be it serie A or serie B. these young players need to play!
Darmian should be loaned to a serie B team IMO, he needs to play a full season as first team regular! if he does OK you can take him back or loan him again to a better team.


But I prefer the barca, Arsenal or Man Utd way, they are giving youngster the chance to play in cup games and some minutes against the smaller teams! if they do OK give them slowly more playing time.

Indeed,just like a proposed in the Summer Mercato topic a few times now,but the thing is we(not i)all want new players,but if we get all those players we(again not i)want then there will be for sure now space for the players of our youth academy!Its just as simple as that.

God please let Milan be again a wonderful team,each week i look forward to a match of Milan,each week i am thinking each day about our team but they keep dissapoint,please let them make up for last season with great football.

I think you guys make a great point. Coppa Italia should be played with youth team and bench players and just throw in 3-4 starters.

I think Darmian needs loaning out. He's lacking match sharpness and doesn't yet seem to have the confidence to play on a more frequent basis at Milan. Just send him out for a year to gain invaluable experience and see if he's ready for a bigger role at Milan in a years time.

Apparently (goal.com who based on Skysport Italia) we have signed Gianmarco Zigoni from Treviso for 1.2 mil euros.

I don't know about this player. He could play for Primavera next season since he is only 18 years old.

2 goals in Serie B after a large amount of appearances? Not trying to be skeptical, but this player sounds like more of a long-term development project than a prodigy. Anyway, young players are good...

No, 2 goals in 18 games isn't impressive, but 10 of those games were substitute appearances. And Treviso weren't exactly setting the world alight last season, they finished last and scored the fewest goals. But Zigoni should probably play next season with the Primavera and then go out on loan for another year or two. Then maybe he'll be ready for the first team, or maybe he won't. Imo for €1.2m it's gamble worth taking, he is one of the best Italian strikers in his age group, after all.

So yes, he is a long-term project and a gamble. Hopefully, it was one worth taking...

Hi, guys, i am new here.
Beretta is U17 regular and he also played for U19 a couple of times. His position is attacker. some say that he is the best 1992 attacker that Italy has. He and Zigoni will be partners in attack in the Primavera squad the next season.

Beretta can also play in every position upfront: LW,CF or RW.
