You state your opinion very well but by sure we want a LB and if we hadn't bought Oddo i would love to see Dani Alves i am obsessed with him.

Does anyone else think this "unsuspected player" (as Ancelotti said) will be Michael Owen?

I hope not as that wouldn't really be a transfer to get the pulses racing.

Last season we conceded 34 goals in serie A, only 2 goals more than Inter and Roma. If the defense that is "a mess" could annihilate MU's striking force and eventually win UCL, I'd be more than just happy to have it every year!

You are talking so many that I wouldn´t be surprise if you started to say that Mista, Fernando Torres and Josemari are amazing forwards because they already did more than 15 goals in one season at spanish league

All those players were listed for a reason, they have all lead the line for their nations for nearly a decade and are therefore the best comparisons for Henry. Maybe you dont appreciate reality but thats the way it is! Who else is there to add? Trezeguet and Pauleta have been around for a decade too and they also have records of roughly 1 in 2, just like Henry, Owen, Sheva and the rest.

I don´t mind about number, marketing, prizes and that kind of stuff, I make my own opinion based in what I watch in the games

Totti is a amazing and versatile player but you would never recognize how good is this italian player cause he doesn´t play at Spice Girls League ("the best league of the world) or Milan, Inter and Juve

I know exactly how good Totti is, and has been for many years. This isnt about him though. I also know exactly why Totti has a relatively poor goal return for Italy compared to Roma, i used it as an example to make a point that you clearly havent got yet...

what makes you think that, Hasan? Any rumours about it or you just woke up from a nightmare?
I honestly doubt there is a chance for Milan to go for MO ... he would be way too "unsuspected" of a transfer .
He is talented striker no doubt but way too injury proned and hardly Milan would see him fit for Serie A given that apart from a rather average spell at Real M, he has always played in the EPL ... really doubt we would take a gamble on him.

Yes it was indeed a nightmare. I thought that simply because he would be a real shock! I agree with your assessments.

There is talk of Owen leaving Newcastle, so it got me thinking.

Well Owen wasn't bad partnering up with Ronaldo back in Real, but oh well I wouldn't want 2 injury prone strikers on my team.

Anyways I wanted to post about Gabriel Heinze and see what you fans think. You see, he seems to want more playing time but Fergie seem to prefer Evra over him. I rated Heinze very highly before his injury 1.5 years ago. Ever since he came back he has not been the same, but is still very solid (forget CL SEMIS hehe) and versatile. Barcelona have been linked with him and I thought that if we can't get Zambrotta for whatever reason, then we could opt for Heinze as he would definitely be a better option on the left than Janku and could also play CB when needed. I have been a big fan of Heinze. Before the injury he was immense, but after it, as you say, quite different. I think he is a good plan B, and though he is 29, he would be a great addition to our team.

Btw, wasnt Heinze playing CB before MU took him... i remember he used to be a CB and he was a rock...

in short, most importantly, the article says, Carlo will be having a Looong vacation in Spain ... and there in the bottom it mentions that Milan's Galliani and Braida are getting ready for even longer negotiations with Barca for Etoo, whose price is expected to be around 40 mil.
It's believed that reaching an agreement with the player would not be a problem given that he would be among the best-paid at Milan and would be getting somewhere around 6 mil/season.
Edmilson could also become a subject of discussion during the meeting(s) between Barca and Milan officials.

Milan seems to have Tiago on their radar and Lion is believed to value the player at 18 mil. Juventus has reportedly already made an approach for the player in the recent past but Milan seems to be the more insistent club lately.
