all i know is that the bugis, boyanese and javanese emigrate to singapore. and if i m not wrong they are called the 'sea ppl'. is that true?

I know the Bugis are good sea farers, that's what I was told anyway

I do not know much about history but might it have anything to do with Parameswara? Or Sang Nila Utama perhaps? And the Gadja Madah Empire? Singapore is not that far from Indonesia and during those days, you don't expect them to take the MRT, do you? So 'sea ppl' cud a generalisation

Yeah..Bugis tribe comes from Sulawesi. Dayaknese, Kutainese and Banjarnese from Kalimantan. Javanese and Madurese from Java and Madura. Acehnese, Bataknese and Padangnese from Sumatra. Timorese from Papua and Timor.

And I'm one of them. As a real clan in my homeland.
