Oddo, officially a Milan player!

Oddo should arrive in Milan tomorrow at about 9.30 so I think that about 12.00 it will be made official. I think he will participate in tomorrow's afternoon training as well.

I'm pretty sure next season Juve will be back as strong as they were when they left. I think they are building a pretty nice team , and I hope they return next season stronger than ever.Then Milan will have a worthy opponent again in Serie A.

Normally I'd be disappointed with letting Foggia go. However, considering how desperate we were for a quality right wing back like Oddo and the fact that Foggia isn't likely to ever become more than a squad player for us anyway, this is a fair deal.

Thank the lord!! Finally this transfer saga has come to an end. I think the transfer fee plus Foggia is a little excessive for a 30 year old, but if our scouts dont deem Foggia to be the next Kaka, then I think it's fair enough---at least we save on some cash.

My only hope now is that we continue on the same vein---i.e. that is to identify our weakness and transfer targets, enter into negotiations, and come out of it with something at least

I would have prefared Javier Zanetti , but Oddo might good as well, but I havnt seen 2 much of him. The thing I am worried abt is how does he look , is of the same class of Nesta, Maldini, Kaka and Gila???? I mean is he beautiful enough to become an AC Milan player???? Its important

Massimo Oddo has chosen number 44.

I think Oddo is gonna a good barber for his team mates. Lets try to notice if any of them change their hair cuts in next few weeks.

Here's the latest comments Galliani has said after signing Oddo, and a surprising twist!:

On Oddo: "Massimo will be added to the right side and will form a great back-up(he didnt say backup but i couldn't find a more correct word) with Cafu. We like to bring in talented players even though we already have great players competing for one position. We wanted to bring Oddo to the team and the negotiations were very long but at the end we found a solution."

AND THE TWIST:
"We were on the verge of signing MESTO(!!!!!!) because we felt we would be a solid addition to our squad in the case we didnt sign Oddo. But president Berlusconi added the remaining money to make sure we got Oddo and that is why we got him today. I now believe we have one of the strongest teams in Europe."
