relax everyone... the reason why we haven't started makin' any major transfers till now is because our place in the CL is not confirmed... once Milan get pass Red Star in the qualifyin' round... we will be makin' new signings... haven't you all realise why Diarra... Torres... Tevez... Ibra... etc haven't moved on yet? maybe because they are waitin' on the result of our CL preliminary rounds...

Yeah, but see other teams transfer policy as well: they are sitting on their arms, waiting for Milan to make their moves and they wont pursue any player until Milan decides if they want Diarra or no, if they want Ibra or not, and so on.

And we dont have the greatest squad out there, we might as well have signed someone to add some strength to our offence.

But now that we cant make rosters moves for this UCL stage, I agree that it wouldnt make sense to spend our transfer budget. But still, we are not the only players in the Diarra sweepstakes, Tevez sweepstakes and so on.

But guys; to what extent can you trust these rumors when none of them predicted Bonera's move? If it's a surprise, then it's a surprise. If some websites have already reported it, then it's no longer a surprise. I thought that's the way Milan has always been doing.

so what about Gilardino, we heard the rumors for a long long time before he come, and he was the most inportan one in last summer. So what if other clubs get good players like we got Gilardino.

I don't think the player is waiting for us, they are just considering which club to agree.

I admit Im impatient when we are talking transfers, I tend to want everything now and thats not wise. But at the same time, I think we need to make some moves before other teams dictate who we sign. I want Milan to set its targets (say A, B and C) and get them. Not wait until Manchester signs A so we have to settle for A1.

The Bonera signing was totally unexpected but it was still a minor move, not huge name. I doubt from one day to the other we will sign a player that qualifies as a top notch talent without being linked with him before. Usually big names capture headlines before a move takes place.

I think it's quite an arrogant and wrong line of thinking to assume that other clubs are waiting to see who we go for.

It looks like all of our transfers will hinge on us getting past Red Star, which i think is a mistake. They should be bought now, waiting until after the tie will be too long and will mean missing out on some targets and will leave ourselves a small amount of time to conduct any negotiations.

It's not we who are waiting.. it's the players who are waiting to decide. Remember that the players also have a say in the transfer.

Well, that is what I stated before.

Lyon want to sell Diarra in order to get funds to buy Ribery.

Diarra has commented on the Madrid rumours and he said something along the lines of 'I'm pleased Madrid & Capello want me' ... 'They are a great club'. The article is on skysports and probably on l'Equipe somewhere.

I would see what Madrid's offer is and offer a bit more plus Vogel. Something like £17 + Vogel. I'd even go so far as to offer £25 million + Vogel for Reveillere & Diarra. Lyon have Clerc anyway, so they wouldn't be short of a right-back and it's 7 or 8 million on top of what Diarra is worth.

Frederic Guerra, Diarra's Agent, said that Milan, ManU and Real Madrid are the teams that want to sign his client. Also said no one has contacted Lyon directly in order to ask for the player, but there is an early indication that his price will be around 30M Euros.

Like Jim said, that would be a great deal. Also, I would really be glad to see Reveillere at Milan as he would be a great addition to our somewhat weak defense. As for Diarra, he would me excellent for our midfield. He could really do great things at Milan.
