I know this is the wrong thread for this but I need some help and I know I and a lot of others hit this thread the most so here I go.

I will be in Italy on December 23rd when Milan face the merda Inter. I have two questions that I hope someone can help me with...

FIRST: Whenever I go to the official website, tickets are NEVER on sale. I've realized that on Inter's official site, their booking engine is awesome. It's an easy application that allows you to buy the tickets and pickup at the ticket window that day. Being that Inter are considered the home team, they will be selling tickets a couple days beforehand on their site. Does anyone have any other suggestions or should I just got through Inter's site. Once they have a home game, they usually open the sales online. Also, is there a section I should be looking for that is not too rowdy or partial? Obviously the Nord is a bad idea with Milan fans being in the Sud.

SECOND: Me and my wife will be going to the game together. We are both AC Milan fans and are proud to show it. The only thing is that I've never been to a derby before. Is it safe?? We cheer our team on, but we're not obnoxious and are usually the ones to look forward and walk. Will it be safe to go to the match? It will most likely be the night game on Sunday so I want to make sure everything is fine before we buy tickets.

Since Milan will be the away team we will have limited amount of tickets which the mayority of them will be distributed amoung the curva groups. Game will be played in december so for now, it's too early to see online sale of tickets for it.

It is safe to go to the away derby with Milan scarves and jerseys, you will surely not be alone. The most important thing is that you don't go near the Curva Nord area outside the stadium and in it you don't sit in the verde section. 2nd ring verde is the Inter ultras section, so it's adviceable to avoid all verde (green) section of seating.

check this link, it shows alot about ultras inters ultras in specific, but in Italy this is how ultras are, always causing trouble, and always cheering, never sitting down, and never stop chanting no matter what the rsult, thats our rule at vikings inter, which i am apart of, it does get very expensive, as you do alot of traveling.

those aren't just inter ultras rules....

The four core points of the ultra mentality are:
- never stop singing or chanting during a match, no matter what the result
- never sit down during a match
- attend as many games as possible (home and away), regardless of cost or distance
- loyalty to the curva

i have a question.....all of the other matches ive seen in serie A this season al of the teams ultras (e.g genoa, roma, palermo, lazio) have alot of flags and banners and things but how come milan ultras dont? is there a specific ban against our ultras? cuz if there is that is prety stupid any info any1?

To my knowledge, the lack of flags and banners in our curva is part of the same protest as when the ultras weren't singing at the games. They finally agreed to sing again, but refused to bring flags and banners.

Welll yes of course any good ultra group has these rules, and milan and inters are no different, the only difference i see is the chants and songs are different, otherwise all the same, i havenoticed that the ultras at inter like to cause fights.

The same with any other ultra in Italy

Yes it is, and it will be very hard especialy to join an ultra group at the san siro as its actually full all places are taken, but that will change soon theres always people leaving and going.

Oh and i also want to say that we still use flares in the curva especially when Inter scores we ussualy light flares, nobody says much at all, so i dont see where the no flare rule has come into place.
