Damn i knew it.. Milan would back off after they saw that price.. I think Parma lifted that price just to push Milan away, Gilardino wants to join Juve so bad ..

There's a report today that said Gilardino is 'too pricey' for Milan..Also, i read a report that said Milan are close to the Crespo deal..

Gilardino also stated that he would rather speak Spanish than English if he was to move aboard..I think thats the answer, he's following Sacchi.. and in other words and IMO, he'll ruin his career by going to Real to sit on the bench.. He wont come to Real in one condition - only if Juve come in.

I hope we can look at Robinho now. Or even Tevez or Chevanton.

Don't worry guys, Parma are just enjoying a short moment of importance - you know the 15 seconds of fame every insignificant person dreams of. A price of 50 mil euros will not be met by any club - not even free-spending Chelski - for Abramovich may be rich but he is not dumb.
Parma are just trying to raise Gila's realistic price which was believed to be in the 20 mil region not so long ago. Now they could sell him for 25 and say "See, we gave you a big discount" when in truth they would be robbing that other team of its money.
Now, I would enjoy seeing them get religated, then it would be very interesting for how much they would sell Gila once the those 15 secs are over.

Do look put too much into the statement from Parma and Galliani. These are typical things before the transfer market starts. If we really want to get Gilardino, we will get him...
However, I have a feeling that we will go with Sheva, Inzaghi, Crespo and Jon Dahl next season - and no Gilardino

Yesterday, Galliani said that Milan will talk about Gilardino in June i.e. at the end of the season. He also said that if Parma will want 35 million sterlings, then the deal will never be done. Parma are saying that they sold Adriano for that sum and Gilardino has scored just like Adriano so the Italian isn't worth less.

I'm a bit afraid now, we surely can't let Gilardino go away like that.... (Hope its just some tactics, like the Nesta story)

Not sure if they can be trusted but if this is true, the competition for Gila is starting to look much better now.
