I think Inter have used Stankovic in the middle and out wide, so yes he could play in Pirlo's role, which would mean we would have a proper alternative to Pirlo when we need one. But more importantly we could play Stankovic in either Seedorf's or Gattuso's positions, i think he would be comfortable playing on either side.

But we all seem to agree that it looks unlikely he will be sold or loaned out.

Juventus And Roma Looking At Miccoli And Mancini Swap
Now that Roma’s transfer has been lifted, reports suggest that Brazilian wingback Mancini may be on his way to Juventus. Juventus have already held discussions with the player’s representatives and are prepared to deal off Fabrizio Miccoli in a part-exchange.
Juventus are very interested in Mancini and are ready to proceed in dealing for the player ahead of other targets which include Benfica’s Miguel and Lazio’s Massimo Oddo.

Miccoli on the other hand would seem to be a welcome addition to Roma, a club who are seeking more attacking options including Cagliari’s talented winger Mauro Esposito.

"After six years, Bayern and the 28-year-old right back will go their separate ways at the end of the season," Bayern said in a statement. The club had offered a contract extension until 2010.

"It is regrettable, but we must accept it," Bayern coach Felix Magath said.

Sagnol, who arrived from Monaco in 2000, had not lined up another club, Bayern said.

Bayern said AC Milan, Juventus and Barcelona were reportedly all interested in signing Sagnol. Sagnol himself told Bild newspaper he would not reveal his future employers until March at the earliest.

Another "almost" Geriatric....well, thats harsh, as he is "only" 28....naa, dont think I would want him here...but he could be better than Simic...who knows?

the reason why id want him here is because hed be a good backup RB, but definatly no starter,first choice remains oddo for me
