I hate hearing this bull crap about Milan balancing books. We are not in debt at all thats just a pathetic excuse from the Milan hierarchy.
We sold Gourcuff and Kaka for practically nothing. Maldini retires, Sheva is sent back after a season wasted on the bench. Mattioni, Viudez, Cardacio all have their contracts rescinded (did we even see them have a chance) Kalac given his marching orders but we still have 3 useless goalkeepers in our squad. Oddo and Kaladze have been told they are not needed anymore but nodody is willing to take them on. But what did we bring in Onyewu????? WHY Roma????? Are these Milan quality i dont think so Berlusconi. Hunter the only worthy signing yet he is being wasted in this bad squad. We needed a Melo, we needed a Diego, hell we could have signed sneijder and Van der Vart for a cut price from Real Madrid as they are giving away players. We could have had a Robben. We could have signed Andre Santos or Rafinha to sort our full back positions. We could have signed Hernanes but no we sign friggin Onyewu and Roma. Im not saying we should have signed every one of these players but for god sake we could have really sorted this pathetic squad out once and for all. Berlusconi made us into a great squad once upon a time but he also destroyed our club and turned us into a laughing stock. SELL THE CLUB YOU DISGUSTING OLD MAN!!!!

Fact is, if we want to establish a fair European championship, then the rules need to be fair. Madrid should not be able to take interest free loans, unless all clubs can. Chelsea and Man City should not have sugar daddy's, unless all clubs do. But this is not going to happen any time soon. Within Italy, though, you have Inter who is heavily financed by a sugar daddy, and a Juve who IMO make shrewd use of debt. If we take clubs as companies, then using debt to bring in transfers is wise if the return on the player is higher than the cost of the financing. For example, if you spend 25M on Diego, as long as he brings in more than 25M + interest in value, it is a smart move. Man Utd has 600M debt. Madrid close to a billion. Using 25-50M of debt to bring in 2-3 stars to take Milan far in CL and Serie A would be smart... because we would make that money back and then some in one year. But Berlusca politically CAN'T use debt financing (or even his personal money) in such a recession. I'm sure he's waiting for the economy to bounce back so he doesn't get politically castrated for splashing sums on transfers. I'm sure he's smart enough to know that by not investing, the club is losing value. |

First as I said 2 years ago we only need good fullbacks (and Ivanovic would be very good choice as he can play both on the side and as CB and there is big fight over right fullback position in Chelsea), also from what we have seen in few past seasons we need much better fitness trainers.
Those things about the age of our players do not hold because Chelsea with this squad is as old as us and it is still in great shape. I also don't think that these guys do not have ambition as they took much beating lately, it more seems that they can't bear the tempo, If you are not ready you can't do things properly on the pitch. I know this as I play football all the time. When you have strength than you see all the solutions clearly and when you're fighting for your breath well then you're just looking how to get rid of the ball. About Berlu, I will repeat the same thing I said when you wanted Carlo out, who is to replace him guys.

During our last game, the camera for a second shot Paolo in the stand. And in that brief moment I wished he was still with us. Wearing the arm band of any club is more than just a customary; it's an honor. A captain is someone the players look up to. That's why Capello never interferes with the appointment of a captain and leaves the decicion to the players (I read about this years ago but CMIIW). A captain must always stay calm no matter what happens. Rino did exactly the otherwise against Inter.
We all admire his flaming passion, but often he lets that fire engulf him completely and get the better of his rationale. I mean how can you explain someone with an injured ankle (which must be really painful) managed to chase all the way to the box if it wasn't because of some temporary madness? As if that wasn't enough, minutes later, he tackled Sneijder. A very unnecessary act as the ball was still in the middle of the field. His gestures upon leaving the field summed all of his incompetency as a captain. Years ago, Eric Cantona came back from the suspension after kicking a supporter a changed man. I remember watching a game when a MU player was on the verge of going berserk while protesting to the referee. Cantona literally scruffed the player in the neck and pushed him aside before complaining to the referee. Now, that is a captain! I was really disappointed with Rino. Didn't he learn anything from Paolo these last ten years? A captain must be the last player to lose his temper, not the first!

Silvio, please leave. If you were so interested in balancing the cheque books, then you should have sold Dinho, Pirlo and Seedorf as well. You wasted this Summer's transfer market when all the Milan fans were expecting something. . It was more painful to see Gourcuff leave when he was obviously the future of this club. I hope you are happy, Silvio. I hope this club serves as a platform for you in the elections. Your pride is preventing you from selling this club. You could have made a profit by having this squad.

Very shamefull... i couldnt say a word when i went to play ball yesterday... Milan wasda laughing stock of the weekend... we couldnt even put up a fight?... this isworsethan Istambul or Diportivo.... i wasas if the team died in a plane crash... i am still in morning ![]()

No its not. The pre season games didnt result in a single 90 minute win. We beat a poor Seria A side in week one and thought we were good. Inter showed us hoe bad we are. I dont expect to beat any top quality side this year.

Moratti balances Inter's books, and Juventus is almost only club in Italy that has balanced books every season without financial help of owner... They finish in profit every year and use money for reinforcements. Except of course Serie B year when shareholders gave their money...

inter used us and wipe the floor...
solution... perhaps using whores to tell Berlu who to buy for Milan will work... or hire one of them to poison him

Thing is, I understand why Berlu doesnt want to be "seen" as spending his money on a football club during tough economic times, but why doesn't he do it indirectly? There are many ways to "launder" the money, so to speak. He could set up companies that indirectly pay for Milan's transfers, he could get a partner, like Taci for instance and make it appear like someone else is funding the transfers. I mean there are so many ways. But, why does the richest and most powerful man in Italy not want to spend any money and end up being humiliated by rivals and hated by his own fans. I don't understand. Is he broke or something?

i was wearing my milan jersey while out shopping with a girlfriend today.. the most unfortunate incident almost made me end up in lock-up for 2days.. lol.. an interista kept giving me 2 peace signs( the V sign on both hands ) and kept laughing at me while pointing at me with his fingers to his friends..
I had a Gattuso moment and i *spilled* my boiling coffee from starbucks on his face and inter jersey.. the best $7 wasted in my life..
