Last night I was at a club in Amsterdam and I saw a familiar face in the crowd...I recognized and was quick to beg him to join Milan... but unfortunately he was just a Mario Balotelli look-a-like.

Let's hope Milan can get back in the thick of things tonight...my prediction is that bought Roma and Milan will drop points against Bari and Cagliari cause they both play away and Inter will extend the lead with an easy win over Bologna.

According to goal.com we're linked with Hernanes again.

Linked with Torres, Lukaku, and now Hernanes...at least we are starting to get linked to the right players. Hope this means we're spending this summer.

I think strikers are the least of our worrys, we need some dynamic midfielders not just DMF, players willing to run and play the ball about to stop us from playing the ball from side to side in straight lines! also we need some real LB and RB, look at the difference in Inter playing with two natural SB's comapred to us with two Midfielders filling in, also a partenr for Thiago is a must as well!

And Vidic, Dzeko, Pastore, Kjaer, Ramos as well to mention a few. Anyway, we've been linked with star-players every season no matter how little we've ended up spending. We can always hope though.

David Luiz reminds me a lot of Thiago Silva last summer. A talent at the back with good athleticism, but still quite a rough diamond. I think if he can develop his talent, like Thiago he could be a top level defender.

For years this boy has impressed me. Since he played at Vitória(biggest rival of my team here in Bahia), and after that, at Brazil under-20 NT. Btw, imo he's years ahead of Thiago Silva at the same age. Thiago at 22yo wasn't in the same level. As I said in the past, this guy will be a W. Class CB in the day he goes to a big center. Also, as I pointed in the past, he needs to cut down just a little of his mean style(sp?)... He improved a lot, but need to watch more Nesta or Alex playing, to learn how to play tough, without to be booked.

Yep, and David also miss tons of time last season with a freak injure. The lad spent part of the last season in USA(or Canada?) healing a bad ankle if I'm not wrong. Don't forget also, that even at 22yo, he's one of the 3 Benfica captains. Impressive for a foreigner so young.

Shame that now David Luiz is "out of reach" for the new Milan. Chelsea, MU, Barça and Real are high on him, and they will spend the money we used to have.

For years I called Silvio and Galiani through MM saying to buy this guy, before half Europe join the bandwagon Now it is late, he's out of our new budget reach

Jucilei will be the next... Very cheap last season. Cheap(maybe not) until the middle of the year. If our new police is to spend almost zero, we need to do a better job finding players before the hype...

Is there anybody here who saw G. Ochoa lately is? I think he is one of the best GK in the world.

Does anyone here know whether Milan will get Paloshi back at the end of this season? I hope Galliani is not stupid enough to sell him. I have a good feeling about him, I think he will become a great forward.

I spoke with some people about Dzeko on morning coffee today, and it seems that lot of people here are sure that he's Milan player already.

On the other hand, there's much talk over Internet about Lippi as our coach next season. Personally, I would be DELIGHTED if that happens.
Lippi is amongst 2 best coaches since Sacchi's prime (the other is Don Fabio ), he's master tactician (VERY important in Italy), and, most important, he knows how to get the best of any player, he's the best in it, miles ahead of every other coach.
Just take Pirlo as example. Even now when he mostly sucks in Milan, he's great for NT (Confed. Cup), and when he was on top of his game (around 2006), he was miles better in NT than in Milan, Lippi simply knows how to get the best of him. And it's not just Pirlo, Grosso also sucked wherever he played, except in NT, Barzagli erased Shevchenko in WC quarter-finals 4 years ago and he's a joke in Wolfsburg...
Anyway, Lippi's signature would mean a better things are coming, because, you know, you can f.ck with Leonardo, but you can't f.ck with a person like Lippi.

Its the 40 million for Dzeko that I can't over is he worth doesnt thats what they want , and I just can't see Milan parting with 20 million never mind 40 mil or 25 + Hunter.

Dzeko`s not the solution for our problems. Lets say we spend 30 million euros on him. We have Pato + Dzeko, but still, old midfielders and shi*ty defense + gk. And I can`t imagine that our board would spend some serious money. This summer, we need to buy quality and quantity, also sell some players that are not needed. Every season, we are linked with world class players. Now we are linked with Ramos, Vidic, Torres, Benzema, Dzeko... I doubt we`ll sign any of them.

Saw 3 times this season... and he wasn't that good in any of the 3.

I'm with you. While I will be glad with him at Milan, there's no way he's worth the amount of money they are asking. If Dzeko was tearing it up at Bayern, ok... But he's scoring at a middle club.

People act like he's scoring like RVN before the jump to a big center. Also, and it isn't a fact, just a opinion, you have to consider the environment he's playing. Wolfsburg pressure is no near what he will face at Milan... Just look what happened to Gilla and how he's scoring a lot back to a middle club.

Please, I'm not comparing both as a player, just given that pressure thing, the importance that imo people frequently forget.

Imo with this amount of money we can reinforce our mid, and get a least a good fullback, as sandicro wrote.

Regarding Leonardo debate, as a HUGE Carlo supporter(mrki know this), I was all against his departure. But the way some people talk about Leo, it appears we are fighting against the relegation.

Leo is a rookie coach, and will commit mistakes, but with a much better team(all younger, plus Kaka), and a health Pato, Carleto was at fifth place most of the Serie A... How people forget that amazes me

Just for the fact we are still in the race for the scudetto this season, without our best players(Pato and Nesta) for several games and with a horrible and old team, corroborates what I say.

I hope Leo stays and gets at least 3 of the players he asks for. Prob best we can hope for.

I really hope is allowed to undo B&G's work of the last few years by getting rid of the trash in the squad.

Players like Paloschi, Astori, Diniz out on loan cab good squad players, along with a primavera players.

Unfortunately considering our first probable summer signing in a 34 year old I don't see things changing next season, with more average players replacing the ones we displace, wasting more money.
