I agree...people try to make conparisons with his skills and ronaldinho's ....which is quite accurate..I mean if you leave out the :
>having less talent (passes are more visionary i concede)
>having no speed whatsoever
>being a huge choker (missed a penalty vs....get this...Inter )

...... he's exactly like ronaldinho

Isn't it obvious that Diego was made for Milan do we really have to wait till he's 32 ?

No I dont think we will wait that much, probably Berlu will leave earlier than that(hope not), and will change strategy and will get him around 30

Diego's at the stage in his career where he shouldn't be second best. Especially not second best to Kaka because, let's face it, he won't get much playing time. Best move would be to go somewhere where he's guaranteed first team action.

Why not play with 2 attacking midfielders against weaker sides?

Riquelme is much better than Diego. Riquelme won many trophies and he was the main reason for his many teams' success. And even when they didnt win (See: Villareal), he did some amazing things. Getting Villareal to UCL semifinals isnt easy, you know?
This being said, I dont want either player at Milan.

It seems we are still looking at another striker, which is good news. I don't think Etoo will go anywhere this summer and given that there is a low-ish value on Henry, i think we should go for him. He'd be cheaper than Shevchenko and without the baggage/history, for around £14 million (if the price is to be believed) he'd be a bargain i think.

Failing that, Huntelaar & Pato all the way.

First off all,we all expected tiago to move to juventus where he would have a quarented first team football,yet at Milan that was impossible considering we have pirlo and seedorf at first XL,gourcuff and ambro at bench,still have brocchi as well who is the one who did well this year even though he had a dip of from toward the end of the season.

secondly,Tiago is a nice player yet i see him as a risky move considering howmuch he costs,he could fail or he could do well as well,also considering he is a not a world class player in addition,he failed at chealse.

thirdly,we all seems to ignore some realities,we need a Left wing back more than a defensive midfielder,what happens if oddo injured?the only one who works perfect on the wings is oddo,cafu will be one year more next year,also considering this factors,we need a player a player who can play on both wngs backs,since we cant take any risky if we want to win both champions and scudetto together

then,i wonder why milan doesnt go for a second gourcuff on french market,since we could find alternativies for zambrotta and abidal as well on the french market such as sagna and mattieu,if we want to sign a DM,why dont we go for Makoun or emana?surely they are better than nothing.

after all,i dont want to think about like what happens if oddo injures,i have to say instead of it,we have sagna he can play at there,no problems,but now i say that cafu cant even run fast

I don't know if the rumours are true, but Milan offered 17m Euro for Tiago ( Juve offered and got him for 15m. Lyon decided to respect players wishes and didn't force him to accept the better offer from Milan) so i'm not sure if he was planned to be a sub to someone in Milan.
I guess Carlo wanted to rotate Pirlo-Seedorf-Tiago-Ambro-Gattuso as much as possible, but i believe he did have plans with Tiago and the Portuguese would have got a fair amount of playing time if he accepted Milan's offer.
But like we've concluded earlier, it looks like he wanted a guaranteed place in the team so he accepted Juve's offer.

Will juve sign another DM?i suppose they wont play with almiron and tiago together in midfield.

My point of view about Riquelme is: Riquelme is Riquelme!!!
Riquelme is one of most talented and high worker player I have ever seen. This guy can turn a game around just like Kaka or Ronaldo(in top form) can.
If anybody saw Copa Libertadores finals matches know what I´m talking about, Riquelme alone crushed Gremio in both games.

I would play Riquelme and bench Seedorf any day of the week. I know Seedorf had a fantastic season, I like him a lot and respect him even more, but Riquelme would be fantastic at Milan.
