Ancelotti couldnt do anything about it, but he could do something with younger players we have in the team.

As a trainer he always has some responsibilities for bad games and defeats (not the last one though) and i said that last year also when he was always playing totally out of form Seedorf. He made it work in the end but the line of such success is veryvery thin...
It's upto management and Berlusconi especially. Over in England they don't like presidents interfering in tactics and teams selections but we do.

Some how Carlo is blamed for letting Berlu take deccsions in his work? I mean if he wont to bench a player and Berlu wont to see him on the pitch then he must stick on his opnion because he is the coash and he is the wont who is going to be blamed for the result(S) later, and if I am not mistaken Cappello used to bench Savisavic while Berlu was in love with the guy and Milan reashed the CL final for 3 consecutive years.
If it was Carlo was he going to bench him or obey to what Berlu says , I guess he was going to choose the second choice becasue its the safer one, and choosing the safer option has been always Carlo's biggest problem.

Ancelotti has a contract until 2010. He'll leave if we are in danger of missing out on a Champions League place.

If milan dont make the champions league this year, ancelotti will definently leave, a team that has one so many european championships, and then dont qualify, then theres something wrong, maybe milan need soem change to start winning.

He should leave ( sacked or resign ) but in the end of the season for 2 reasons:
First to give him a fair chance as he may end up the season with some kind of sucsses, who knows may be CL or UEFA cup or even Scudetto.
Second as sacking the coach in the middle of the season always has negative effect on the team and the players, so let him stay till the end of the season and the evaluate his work befors taking any action.

P.S. I am not a fan of Carlo as you all know though I would not replace him except for someone like Lippi, Capello, Moreniho and other world class coaches but not a coach like Mancini.

I have long argued in the benefit of Ancelotti and defended him, but by now I have faltered. Seeing us looking so clueless on the field goes a long way and now we don't have last seasons excuses.

just see how things go, if we lose tonight, and the next couple of seria A games i think his time should be up. I cant really see us beating Roma ( i have a horrible feeling they will trash us), then its sampdoria and Torino who could both upset us.

If that is the case it would be better someone else comming in at xmas and try and turn the season arround.

if we do win all those games i will support him like i have done in the past. Like ive said before, ancelotti is ownly part responcible for our current form. We really need to win all of those games to have a chance of finishing in the top 4. Main difference between this side and the one of three years ago is that even if we couldnt beat the big teams, we useto be able to finish off the smaller sides.

Getting points now is key, if we dont finish in the top 7 before xmas then i think alot of questions have to be asked of ancelotti.

The positive and negative things he did does not dissappear, but the coming games will determine how well he (and the team) will handle this situation and be another page in his book. As it is, the games may very possiby give a mixed signal...

Lets assume that Milan lost or drawn these games, would you both be with sacking him during the season or wait to the summer before taking any action? I myself will wait despite the fact that I dislike his way.Opinions?

Roma will be hard, but we "should" really be able to beat teams like sampdoria and Torino. My main worry is how long do we wait? how far down *** creek without a paddle do we have to go? i think january will be a good judge point, if things dont look like they are improving by then someone else could come in and try and turn things arround. Milan are only 8 points from the bottom.

I really hope for ancelotti's sake he can turn things arround.
