You live in Macedonia, are you planning to fly all the way down to South Africa for one or two WC games?

But Dev, Galli was the one who sign big extension contracts and got washed up players over the past few years.
I am not going to mention Gila and RO. As Gila was suppose to be great while RO was sign mainly for the arrival of Dinho.
But Emerson-5Mil plus 4mil salary, Senderous-2M loan, Gouch-free but 2M/year, then there are the extension to Dida, Gattuso, Ambro, Seedorf, Kala....not to mention the likes of Oddo and Janku. Really don't know what happened to those two as they were pretty much top 5 in their positions before coming to Milan. On top of that, there was no input in the youth teams until last summer.

as much as I think Berlu is being cheap over the past years, I think he has every right to not let Galli spend money, as he really have not done anything in recent history to suggest that he still knows what he is doing with the club. Of course, he did manage to get Flamini from pretty much everybody else in Europe, then there is the Beckham exp.

Leo on the other hand got some great players. Then again, why didn't Berlu allow the signing the Cissokho, Dzeko and Hernanes? Since they are all recommend from Leo. Maybe b/c Berlu is up to something, like clearing everyone from top to bottom in Milan.
After all, Dzeko and Hernanes are still available.
Maybe after the summer, Leo will get promote to Director of operations, and Cap becomes Senior advisor. With Blanc being the new head coach. Then Berlu spend last year money from Kaka's sale and this year transfer money and sign Dzeko, Hernanes, Gourcuff, Santon, Bale, Santacroce......
Then I wake up and realize that I was only dreaming.

I was in Japan during the WC02. Did not manage to see any games, as I ended up selling my 3 games ticket, to some people I met. Why you may ask, b.c the profit from those 3 tickets was enough to cover my trip during that time and more. HAHAHHAHA

I have to admit though, it was a kick ass atmosphere.

I live in South Africa, so its just the ticket expense for me. I'm not sure how the international attendence for this world cup will be compared to others, since this is the first time its in an African country...we will see

Why not!!!

If i have a fair price on the ticket and if Italy were playing in Quarters or Semis , plus enjoying all that WC atmosphere

Exactly my point. Galliani and Braida have made some big mistakes as I said in my last point. However, it's clear to see that had we bought the players that we intended to sign last summer, then we would have been much more competitive this season.

In addition to that, I get the impression Carlo is being ignored in this whole discussion. Fact is as soon as Leo came in Galliani went for his intended targets. Why wasn't this the case with Carlo (assuming Carlo didn't want those mentioned as mistakes)?

http://www.football-italia.net/apr9j.html. Im no fan of conspiracy's but it seems like he is trying to push Leo out and appoint a yes man who won't question anything or ask for anything.Leo is a good coach and if we had got the players he asked we would be in a far better position.I know we are 3rd but Im talking about the future.

Well, I just finished UNi at that time and single, and the show WILD ON was the most popular show at that time on TV too. You put those two together, I am sure you get the picture.

The thing is that, Gila is the striker that Carlo wanted or at the very least the type of striker he wanted. RO, as I said before was just someone to welcome the arrival of Dinho.

I think Carlo pretty much got what he wanted in the beginning prior to the Scandal. But then again, b4 Sheva left, Milan was the unstoppable team.
Carlo really did not need anyone.
Just look at the starting 11 and the bench players at that time.

Dida(Probably No. 2 GK at that time behind Buffon) Brazil Int'l-Starting
Cafu(old but reliable and top 5 RB at that time) Brazil Int'l-Starting
Nesta(no need to comment)-IT Int'l-starting
Cap(no need to comment)Retired Int'l
Pancaro(Solid and did the job)
Gattuso(Best pure DM at the time)-IT Int'l-starting
Seedorf(Actually ran for about 3 seasons)
Pirlo(unsung hero during that time)-IT Int'l-starting
Kaka(Only Dinho was better) Brazil Int'l-Starting
Sheva(Unstoppable)- Urk Int'l starting
Pippo(same as Sheva)-IT Int'l

Bench:
Rui Costa(Best dribbler on the team and did well when called upon) Int'l
Stam(The Dutch Tank) Dutch Int'l-starting
Serginho(Fastest Left side player in the World at that time)
JDT(Solid and got the job done) Denmark Int'l-starting/Gila(Did the job) IT Int'l
Ambro(no need to comment)
Vogel(Swiss Int'l)
Brocchi
Kala
Billy

Don't think Milan needed anything prior to Sheva's departure and the Scandal.
I think it was pretty much in after winning the CL in 07 that Carlo did not get what he wanted. But then again, beside Toni and Ribery, Carlo really did not make it known that who did he wanted.

I know this sort of talk doesn't belong here, but that's all well planned because Islam is most growing religion. European Union never let Turkey in, but they've let Bulgaria and Romania (no offense). Now, Bosnia will never go into EU because 51% of population are muslims.

But, that talk about "Islam fundamentalists" threatening to ruin WC, that's most probably invented story. 90% of "IF" threats after 9/11 are invented. Dozen of maniacs killed 3000 people on 9/11, working all alone (yes, there's no such thing as Al-Kaida, just as there's no such this like "Islam fundamentalism") and now whatever happens "muslims are guilty"...

Disagree. They spend millions and millions on flops and OLD EXPENSIVE PLAYERS while neglecting cheap talent.

Huntelaar, oliviera, zambrotta, emerson and on and on and on

While none seem huge, every dollar adds up. Would you prefer huntelaar or pastore + nene for example cause those 2 were bought for less than combine sum of huntelaar.

Oliviera was purchased when we could have goten a 25 year old berbatov for less money (and he is a perfect fit at milan and in italy). The list goes on
and on

and on

and on

Any moron can build a squad with 50 mil a summer. It takes real scouting, management and skill to build one on a bit of a budget

There is such a thing as Al Qaeda and there is fundamentalists some (actually almost all) muslims are good some are not , some want the whole world to be muslim having women covered up which should be the choice of the woman if she want's to or not , I am mixed race as my grandmother is from the Lebanon and have experienced both middle eastern and western culture , however this is not the place to discuss this kind of thing , but I do hope that nothing happens at the world cup.

I do know what it is and isnt about didnt go in to detail as I said and you said it isnt the place .....

Is there any truth behind the Godin Interest I have not seen anything because he is a good player and only 24 , if he arrived with Yepes and Nesta and Silva that would be 4 real good centre backs. Just a couple of midfielder's and we would be looking alot better , I like Anderson and think he has been used not right at Utd . There was talk in the English papers today about him going back to Brasil but I think he could be good at Milan and maybe play instead of Ambro Utd bought him for 18 million but that would be lower now.
