He ment that guy Meani...but i've never heard this name before, and i have no idea if he was on Berlu's pay list or not.

btw, Juve's players were happy as little kids after the match in Bari. So eather someone fooled them and said to them that there will be no serious consequences for what Moggi was doing, or they know that there won't be any consequences !

And congrats to Milan for the great season also. Even if the Scudetto is taken from Juve and not given to anyone, or even given to Milan...Milan certanly deserved it as much as Juve !

Cheers guys !

Well, from what I gather, the Italian media is saying that the evidence against Milan isn't as strong as against a lot of the other clubs. There is no proof whatsoever that Galliani, Berlusconi or any of the other bosses at Milan are involved, but there is this Meani guy - who is just a lower ranking employee at the club - who has made some dodgy phone calls. But it's hard to get anything on Milan, even judging by those calls.

I think we could have some points deducted before the start of next season, but I really doubt we'll be relegated or anything like that. I think that of all the clubs that are involved, we are the least likely to be found guilty of anything.

Juve is definitely in trouble. I honestly don't think they'll be playing in the Serie A next season, because their offenses, if they are found guilty, will be subject to the feared article 13 in Codice di giustizia sportiva, part 2. This means that the FIGC will be able to punish them by removing them from the Serie A, in addition to deducting points from them before the start of next season.

But I am nervous. You never know what'll happen. Maybe we are in just as deep as Juve, maybe we haven't done anything wrong. For the sake of all the fans I hope it's the latter.

BlackRedInferno: What is the current word in Italy about Milan's situation? Should we be seriously worried about relegation ourselves?

Well then, I'm sorry, my english maybe is not perfect. There is a manager of the club , Leonardo Meani, who phoned to linesmen selecter of Figc, asking two "clever" linesmen, because of a match lost by Milan after two "errors" of linesmen who seems to be at the order of Moggi. This is why Milan is involved.

to Tony, I'd be happy if every Juve fan was like you

It seems we are only risking some points of penalization.

nice one belusconi!
-----------------------

Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi demands the ‘return’ of the Juventus Scudetti under investigation and Franco Carraro warns this title is only provisional.

“We demand the return of the two Scudetti that belong to us,” said the former Prime Minister and media mogul this afternoon. “I don’t think I can be any clearer than that. We are sick of being the victims of injustice.”

A police investigation into match-fixing allegations and collusion with referees is sweeping through Italian football and could potentially see clubs docked points, stripped of titles or even relegated.

While these scenarios are unlikely and it should be noted that at this stage no charges have been made, it casts a shadow over Juve’s celebrations for their 29th Serie A Championship.

“The season ends today and the winner is assigned a provisional Scudetto,” explained former FIGC President Carraro.

“The sporting justice system will investigate and reach its conclusions, but this is not just because of the events from this week. It’s the way it always works, as the results are only ratified after a few days.”

Carraro resigned from his post at the head of the Italian Federation earlier this week after the publication of telephone conversation transcripts between Juve director general Luciano Moggi and several high-ranking officials.

“It’s only right that everything be burned down and started from scratch, as it will take years to wash away what has happened,” he continued.

“I realised that public opinion was very strong and thought it impossible for a figure to be head of the FA who was the subject of so much debate, both inside and outside the sport. I have always considered myself an honest man, but as President it was my responsibility to ensure everything ran smoothly. I was the only person to ask for a commission into GEA’s practices, but after a year the investigation was closed without evidence of wrong-doing.”

Carraro turned against referee Gianluca Paparesta, who was interrogated by public prosecutors this week after allegations Juventus director general Luciano Moggi locked him in his office as ‘punishment’ for disallowing the Bianconeri’s goal in the 2-1 defeat at Reggina last season.

“Paparesta has disappointed me and failed to do his duty, as he should’ve reported this incident. I heard that he said it was because he’d never referee again if he talked. How can he say such a thing, as his father was a respected referee and he has been in this sport for a long time? As for Moggi, what saddened me was his air of arrogance and impunity.”

There are reports that the investigation could take so long that next season, scheduled to kick off on August 27, won’t actually be able to start until October 1. In order to achieve that, the Serie A table could again be reduced from 20 teams to 18.

Honestly, i believe nothing will happen to Milan. Although what this guy Meani said is much more of a proof, then what Moggi was saying on his phone, their positions in the club are different and that's why Juve may get in much bigger trouble.
I believe, after todays matches, and after Juve survived the pressure, accusations will kinda stop, and no new scandals will be heared.
The final decission must be given as much earlier as possibile, because WC is coming and Juve is giving one half of starting 11.

No matter where Juve will end up, i will continue loving it with all my heart. Serie B will be a huge humiliation for all Juve fans, but if we end there, it will be because we deserved it. Not the players and Capello who gave their hearts on the field for every single goal and point, but because some idiot was playing God !
If the Scudetto's are taken from Juve, i don't care much. New people will come one day to run the Calcio and the Scudetto's will be brought back to Juve, just as the CL was taken from Marselle and then given back after some years....but Serie B,C,D , yeah, it will be humiliating !

My personal wish about the punishment ( and there must be some punishment, even simbolic one) is Juve to start the next season in A with -12 points .... still to make it to the CL, and be only 3-4 points behind the winners.
It will still be a big punishment, and yet, it will not provoke incidents all over Italy and save the Italian football !

I'm sorry, but I do not agree, the only way to save Italian soccer is to punish who is guilty, and I'm speaking of Milan too, if not it's better to watch Wrestling, at least we know it's all fake.

A couple of points about these wild claims.

Juve is giving one half of the starting XI...er... Buffon, Zambrotta, Canna and Camoranesi.

That is not one half of a starting XI. Del Piero will only start if Totti does not.

Secondly...what Meani said is by no means more proof...hahaha...Moggi was asking for refs for CL game for God's sake!!!

Jeez take off those black and white tinted glasses. Many on here admit that if Milan have done something wrong they should be punished...you just keep trying to excuse Juve... albeit in a passive-aggressive manner.

Its not your English, its just what has been translated is very unclear. So he was asking about why these two "clever" linesmen were involved in our game?

I agree with you that if we are guilty, we should be punished.

I definately disagree here. Some of the latest conversations between Bergamo and Moggi seem very clear proof.
