Roma striker Antonio Cassano walked out of a Roma training session for the umpteenth time yesterday.
The former Bari forward is no stranger to these incidents, and marched off the field in anger atassistant manager Ezio Sella when a free-kick was given against him in a private game.

Coach Rudi Voeller did not attempt to stop the youngster walking away.

Would our management stay quiet and be patient with Cassano (if he comes) like Roma always do? I'd really get distracted and furious if this ever happens in Milan. I don't think Cassano is up to Milan, not because of his skills, but instead because of his big head. I love watching Cassano play, but hate to read about his stories.
People (including me) were starting to believe he was maturing. I guess this shows he's still not ready for Milan.

im back!!!! ... its mohammadk18 ... i love this thread ... i wouldve added the likes of zlatan and drogba only they joined other clubs now, from this list plus tevez i would list them as follows in terms of who would be the best transfer if he joined

1- adriano
2- gilardino
3- tevez
4- cassano
5- torres

to be honest i dont think torres would be a success in italy.

Why must it be a youngster? I feel really comfortable with our transfer policy of the last couple of years when we always brought in experienced, world class players who will deliver.
But that on a side note. From the above list my vote will go to Adriano.

Well, when talking about experienced players, I would consider Ronaldo

well it's nice to have experienced players, but in like 3 yrs none of our defendrs will be here, maldini, pancaro, stam, cafu, costacurta- we should point on yongsters- vincent kompany, heitinga and maxwell are names for the future.
for the midfield there seems to be no major problem/ maybe sneijder(ajax)
and in attack gilardino and torres would be nice, and why not maxi lopez?

On that, I agree, but we could replace them with experienced 28-30 year old defenders who will deliver and won't make youth mistakes and are up to the pressure.
I really know what you feel, it's always nice to bring in talented, young and hyped up players who will have a great future ahead, but I really prefer a team who'll win trophies year in year out then to be a training school for youngsters, like Parma is. Teams like Milan, Juventus, Inter and... don't often bring in many young players, and that's for a reason.

Let Parma be the training school.

If you ask me thats why I wouldn't want Cassano, he wasn't even really fouled and he did that. He has had plenty of time to mature and obviously he hasn't yet at all.

For me the best option is Adriano or Cassano! Though Gillardinio will be ok for me!

It is very tempting to say that you don't want someone with Cassano's attitude to spoil your team, but let's not forget that we got Inzaghi when he was an enfant terrible.

If, and it is a pretty big if, Gilardino can deliver what he delivered the last 1/2 season last year, I would much prefer him over Cassano. Not because he is much better or even better, but because he would better fit in as a replacement for Inzaghi
