They still have U-21 Italian, Rolando Bianchi and Gianfranco Zola who could spoil everything on our defence side that's been problem this season.

I hope everything will be positive in the end.

Dave · 15-10-2004, 06:19

Btw when will be the game(I mean on Saturday or Sunday)???
FORZA

The Guardian has this to say about one of the several Sicilian "upstarts" of this season:
http://football.guardian.co.uk/comme...328675,00.html

Quote:

Cagliari
Points: 9
Position: 6th
The former Chelsea idol Gianfranco Zola's return to his native Sardinia helped Cagliari to win promotion to Serie A in his first season back. The 38-year-old extended his contract last summer and has potent attacking partners in the Honduras international David Suazo, rated the fastest player in Serie A, and Mauro Esposito, who has scored three goals in the first five games. 'I played in every part of Italy but winning in the south is special,' said Esposito.

Speed in a counter-attacking side is something to be concerned with, especially when your centre-backs are not speed-merchants...

I expect 3 points though, though it might be a close run thing.....

16-10-2004, 10:00

very hard game , they will close down in defense so Milan will need to put Kaka in 1st half .. if we score .. he most be rested for the game againts Barca,FORZA MILAN!!!

ariel · 16-10-2004, 10:46

I`m looking forward to 3 points in this game but i must confess that i find these southerns rather tricky to play against..especially away.
However i think we mustn`t let them have the ball possesion for a longer period of time cos then they will definitely put pressure on our defence(naturally) and then our chances to conceed a goal are very high bearing on mind they have zola who is still excellent player although in his late 30s.On the other hand we`ve been excellent in away games from the beginning of the season.....that surely means something. In Sheva we trust

FORZA MILAN!!!!

And I thought I read somewehre that Stam would be back for this game..

Xudong · 16-10-2004, 15:09

damn messina. 1-0 trailing...

ACMILAN1983 · 16-10-2004, 18:02

Messina lost 2-1 as far as I know. My bro said they play really dirty football, but are a good side, well, lets focus on our match.

damn, don't British Eurosport at uni, anyone know where I can see the match online?

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grande-Milan-DK · 17-10-2004, 03:02

I`ve seen Juventus against Udinese and Messina - It can`t simply be true that they are going to win the scudetto with this kind of play

But for the Cagliari match I have a good feeling .. Milan have been better and better over the last weeks before the international break, and against Barcelona and Inter they will be at their best .. so against Cagliari I expect an inform Milan team, even without some first team members.

17-10-2004, 03:39

Hello everyone, as you may have figured im new here...

Cagliari vs Milan....mmm the pressures on Milan to get the three points after Jue extended their lead to 6 points.....bastards.

Cagliari 1-3 Milan with Sheva bagging a brace and...Rui scoring (gut feeling)

oskarius · 17-10-2004, 07:31

Smoje · 17-10-2004, 07:49

Dida - Costacurta - Nesta - Maldini - Kaladze - Brocchi - Pirlo - Seedorf - Rui Costa - Inzaghi - Shevchenko

Kaká and Gattuso on the bench, Cafú is not in the squad to this match.
