Sheva suffers a serious injury in the game and even though Milan lay siege to the Bologna goal with 19 shots, they are unable to overturn former Rossoneri Locatelli's goal. Early diagnosis says Sheva will be out for 2 weeks. Hopefully this is true but I doubt it.

Also noteworthy is Sheva's return from injury marked by a SUPERB freekick!

Milan end Perdenti FC's unbeaten run, which was not that impressive in the first place, considering that they tied most of their games. Milan also end Inter's title hopes with this scrappy "away" win. The Black and Blue team threw on all they had at the end and effectively played with 4 strikers but came up against a very disciplined Milan defence. Milan show that they are well capable of stringing together wins without their talisman - the ukrainian bomber Shevchenko.

Milan are let off the hook after Juve tie 3-3 to Fiorentina. Milan should have wrapped this game up after some dominating plays in the first half and a shocking miss by Dane JDT in front of goal. Brescia made us pay for not scoring the second goal by tying the game late on. Milan and Juve still locked in a tie on top of the table. Clearly both teams had the CL game on their minds. On a positive note, Rui Costa scored an absolute stunner - his first goal since he scored for Portugal against England in Euro 2004.

On another positive note, Sheva's first game in Serie A after his horrific facial injury.
