Only if we have a comfortable lead like 3-0. Crespo is very low on confidence now, to make him take a PK when it's still 0-0 is as good as telling Seedorf to take one

He's stated that this could open the floodgates. Carletto has backed him up on this, saying that Crespo always starts scoring then can't stop for a while. Remains to be seen though.

Chelsea don't seem to want him back, even with the Mutu scandal. They look like they want someone else.

In his good early Serie A days it took him some months to score his first goal, but after that he scored consistently...hopefully he can do the same now....and in-form Sheva plus and in-form Crespo plus the always reliable Tomasson would be great

....especially if you add SuperPippo's eventual comeback to the formula.

Crespo and Sheva is on paper probably the most leathal striking duo in the last 10 years of Serie A with over 200 goals scored between them. Let's hope we get to see them shine together this season.

well now he finally scored in the coppa he won't shut up about it.

the last 3 days the football italia has some quote or other from Crespo telling everyone "he's back!", "he deserves respect now.", "I've silenced my critics."

steady on crespo, one goal in the coppa is doing nothing

but it's a good sign and a striker needs confidence to score and there is no doubt crespo has that.

Which could actually be a very interesting discussion. As Milan has no option to buy him we are pretty much stuck. If he does poorly Milan would want to return him. If he does well, Chelsea will want him back or a lot of money to sell him. Hence odds are against him staying IMO.

Well, he scored again today ( 2 goals in CL). So, the answer to the original title of this thread "Will Crespo score this year?" is "YES...".

Hopefully these goals on top of his Coppa Italia winner, will increase his confidence and we will be able to enjoy a Sheva/Crespo partnership with many more goals to come.

I think we easily could get him as he only would accept us if things go well and we want him. But I am not as sure that we should get him, even if his form pick up. He is 29 and he is pretty injury prone... Why splash out for a player like that?

"the better i feel, more goals i can score" crespo said in a football magazine. i think he feels much better now. 4 goals within 8 days, it's good for him to prove that he is still a good striker. crespo scored and will score more for milan.

splash out? now that is the point isn't it. if he come cheap, would you want him in the team? i would. chelsea don't want him and morinho hate his guts. the only way is for him to leave chelsea. the pricetag is the only thing i am concerned about, how much would he cost?
