Next signing will be Christian Chivu from Rome, Milan gives 8 millions euros but expect what's happen with Rome situation about transfers.

what was the source of all that ... I hope it wasn't www.tarotcards.com/calcio or www.crystalball.net/sports
On a more serious note, I would love Chivu to come to Milan but I honestly doubt it would happen this summer, if it happens at all, and not for 8 mil euros ...

I would take Di Vaio over Corradi any day but when a fifth striker is considered, probably the most "convincing" part of the whole deal would be his low price ... actually, most probably, we will try to just get him on loan. Di Vaio is doing very well with Valencia and they won't agree to let him go for nothing, as for Corradi, they would probably pay us to take him.
Anyway, apart from Cassano, who would be very expensive to get this year, I think Milito is the best solution for he would be availabe for a very low price given Genoa's recent demotion to Serie C1 and that their appeal was not considered by CONI. Milito is a very good striker and is 23 yo, I think. There have been rumours linking him to Inter and Juve too.

Hmmmm while we are at it, I think we should go for Raul...sike..ok, I do admire Raul a lot, but seriously folks, lets be realistic...we get Vieri on a free...spend megabucks for Gila, and have Pippo and Sheva on the payroll...

I dont see us getting another striker, when our defense is creaking in the knees...at least that is where I would put my million or two euro were I Berlu...but I am not..

So, another round of the silly season begins...

While we are wishing..I wish for Kompany...Raul, and Figo (just to play UCL matches) and I think we will win everything this upcoming season!

It is not just wishing, Warro. The reason for these rumours on calciomercato was the fact that there are a lot of unknowns regarding Inzaghi's condition. Latest news about him is that he would be taking things slowly and will plan patiently his recovery. I don't know about him but I am sure Galliani and Carlo's patience is nearing its end and we are about to start a season aiming to win everything while having 3 healthy strikers and 1, whose recovery period could go on for months and even then there is no guarantee he won't get injured yet again. Plus, of the 3 healthy strikers we have right now, Vieri has also had quite some history with injuries and could be seen as a risky factor, as well.
IMO, with the Inzaghi saga going on and on, a 5th - or should I say a 4th - striker is not a luxury but a must. I would expect Galliani to go for the cheap solution so we won't spend that much on him.

I personally don't see us getting the last two, especially Ronaldo, this season but Corradi and especially Milito, after the demotion of Genoa, would be good and cheap solutions for a 5th striker.
regarding cassano... could some1 please clarify if he can be sold or not??! im not understanding this roma embargo... could they sell their players or are they not allowed to buy and sell?

if cassano could be sold then we should definatly go for him and i think we could strike a deal for a minimum 8M euros!! .. his contract expires next season and theyre forced to sell him, id love to see inzaghi leave and cassano instead

they can sell their players but cannot acquire new ones i.e. if Cassano is to be sold, that team will have to pay Roma the whole amount in cash without any players going to Roma as make-weight - this was exactly Juve's issue for they didn't want to pay 15 mil euros cash.
With his contract expiring soon, I doubt any Italian team, especially Milan, will make a move for him now when they could have him for free just a year from now. Also, I am affraid that Milan will not try to move for Cassano for that way we will interfere with Juve's business and this is something Galliani and Moggi seem to restrain themsleves from doing.
On the other hand, even if we decide to go for Cassano, next year when his contract will expire, the competition for his signature would be very fearce, so we might have better chances now by making a decent offer to Roma, who are anyway facing the possibility of losing Cassano for nothing next summer. The problem, however, is that if they sell Cassano now, because of the "transfer embargo" they will not be able to get a new forward in his place and thus they will have only Totti and Montella plus a couple of unproven primavera players for this coming season - I believe Nonda's transfer was annulled by UEFA and now he is free to look for a new team.

Nonda was declared by Weah to be his heir 5-6 years ago. He (Nonda), however, sustained a very serious injury that kept him out for almost an entire season. This happened 2-3 years ago when he was still with Monaco and he still has not found his old form. No doubt he is a very interesting player but my guess is he might still be having problems with that old injury because Juve were on the verge of signing him for free and he failed the medical tests. After his transfer to Juve failed, Roma signed him and there were even speculations that this was part of a Juve-Cassano deal but then the embargo happened and ...
