Well, with respect, but it is very dangerous to play Alex in first 11 when he has no serie a experience. And if stam vants to leave ( and we dont know the situation on paolo and billy, with simic playing poorely), we would need 2 new CB. My personal wiew is that its clear that Milan wants Chivu. And his fitness will not be a problem in Milanello. The question you all ask is , is he good anough? My answer is - absolutely. Can he play with concistency? - yes. Injuries? - If milan decides to go for him, he is ok. Things like that are very important and people in milan are aware of it. Alex is very good , but he WILL need some experience.

Exactly. The Champions League is the highest level not Serie A, the Premiership, La Liga or any other league.

You´re right, VMK...I don´t watch every Eredivisie game, but I know that he was the best defender of Dutch champ...in CL, Alex was amazing!!!! IMO, he´s suited for serie A, a "killer defender", you put him in a man...and the poor guy desapear, right????

what makes u think if milan will go for chivu his injuries will suddenly disapear?? ... the milan lab is a miracle worker i agree but it cannot stop injuries just like that, besides everthought that the san siro turf might be bad for chivu?

i think the best and most suitable choice is gallas and alex (depending on his price) ... id get gallas because hes solid and he can play as RB and CB, and id look at the better asking price between chivu and alex, id also get oddo and 2nd choice for RB would be sagnol
