i like Dida ok, so he makes mistakes, but what player doesn't (how many really really bad shots on goal did Seedorf make today? )anyway, i'd be really sad to see him go. FORZA DIDA!

fair enough, the players you mention arent young any more, but your statement is totally unfair on some world class players.

So, Dida was bad in that ball...but in a few minutes before, he made a great save in a on-a-one siutuation against a Parma player(and almost noboby remember?)....and in that same ball in other corner, he made the save without problem.
Nesta has unbelivble mistakes some months ago, and wasnīt just one, but SEVERAL mistakes!!! So we need to get rid of nesta, also??
Some people here have true(and fair) concerns about our goalie form, but others...

Dida always had two sides the best and the worst.
heīs an irregular player who donīt miss very often, but when he misses is a disaster.
i remember him against leeds a few years ago...then he established and made optimal performances. but when he loses his confidence heīs very insecure
but we must not forget that he gave us CL trophy against Juve e many others points with his fantastics saves.
letīs give him a chance...heīs human!!
althought for next season we have Abiatti, if itīs necessary.
for GK we donīt have problems..i would like to say the same in other positions

BUT, for the future i hope ACM have an italian goalkeeper:
1- Abbiatti
2- de Sanctis
3- Amelia

italy always had the best GK in the world...

See ya

what about that akinfeev guy? I've never seen him play or anything but he seems to be as regarded as Cech used to be before Chelsea and he never turned out half bad.

I'm undecided on Dida, part of what I liked about his post-corinthians days was he was reliable and stable. he pulled off the odd amazing save, but not as often as Buffon and Frey and the like, but it was his claiming of crosses and sensible positioning that inspired confidence in me. Make Dida an inconsistent liability and he isn't really the Dida we grew to love anymore. It would be like imagining an Inzaghi that dosn't score.
